Why won't my Sansa 250R won't recognize an sd card?

Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. The e250 works with microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

I just bought the usb connector for the sansa sandisk c150 mp3 player and my computer will not recognize it when I plug it in.

Make sure it is the right thing.
I tried to use an extension cable for
mine and It won't work with it.
I don't understand it!

No ext fine, use ext no fine.

It could be the wrong cable/connector.

Won't come on after charging in usb hub

Depending on how long you've had the player, the batteries may need replacing.

I have seen a problem where the computer would not recognize the player and would not charge it, however.

First, I recommend trying to charge it directly from the computer USB port (not the hub) if possible. If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the software for the player to see if the computer will then recognize it and allow charging.

If neither of these fix the problem, it's probably time to replace the batteries.

Good luck!

Player is not recognized by any computers

Try downloading the software and/or drivers for it before connecting it to your pc. If you no longer have the disk that came with it - go to the manufacturers website and download them there. Don't connect it to your pc until the software is installed. The computer won't recognize it until the software and/or drivers are installed.

Just got a MacBook Pro and it won't recognize my Insignia mp3 player. Is it possible to download to it from a Mac?

It is amazing to me when people say that the Mac "just works" and Windows is ****. And then they complete the sentence with the fact that the Mac is not compatible with or won't play some third party software or device as we see above. Believe me I know all to well the problems with Windows. But right now I can't get my mac to recognize my MP3 player either and I have had plenty of issues where my MBP locks up and I have to forcefully quit an app.

My mp3 player won't recognize the memory card.

First, make sure it's a microSD card; the e260 won't work with microSDHC cards.
Then use a card reader to copy music tracks to a "MUSIC" folder on the card. Install the card into the e260 and you will see the additional music.

Does not recognize the micro sd card

First, make sure it's a microSD card and not a microSDHC card. If it's larger than 2GB then it's a microSDHC card and won't work. Second, make sure all your music is in a folder named "MUSIC".

To smeyer1. Instead of going through windows media player, just try dragging and dropping the files directly into the player on 'my computer'. WMP is pretty touchy these days about DRM issues.
