Dsi factory reset

To reset your Nintendo DSi, select the settings icon (the wrench) from the menu after you turn it on. There will be an option to Format System Memory, I believe on the fourth page of the settings. This will erase all saved data on the system and return the DSi to its original software condition.

  1. Was the photo taken with the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL?
    • If the photo was taken with another device (such as a digital camera or cell phone), it will not display on your system. Only photos taken with the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL system's camera will display.
    • Have you edited or renamed using a PC or Mac? Photos modified with a computer will not display on the system.
  2. Try taking another photo with the Nintendo DSi camera.
    • If the photo you take display fine, then there could have been an issue with the previous photo (such as accidental deletion) and your system appears to be working correctly.
    • If the photo you take does not display, then there appears to be an issue with one or both of the system's cameras, and your system will need to be repaired. Please click here for repair information.

I accidentally formatted the memory of my R4 nintendo ds

Hell BJ

You haven't hurt your R4 SDHC, you just need to get the right software and put everything back onto the micro sd card. Check the packaging of your card for a manufacturer website.

If you need to upgrade to a DSi v1.4 compatible card you can get a genuine cards here too All their DSi compatible cards are clearly labeled, and they test every card on an updated DSi before shipping. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.

Best of luck!
