The red rings can also mean that your xbox is not receiving proper power from the power supply. make sure all the cables are properly plugged in. Turn off the console, unplug everything, then plug it all back in, and then restart your xbox this should fix your problem, or else your xbox is malfunctioning.

Can set up th remote control for this tv with the direct tv cable remote

Here's how to scan for TV codes on your DIRECTV remote

1.Make sure your TV is turned on.

2.Slide the mode switch at top of remote to "TV".

3.Press and hold the MUTE button. This is located above the number 1 button.

4.While still holding down MUTE, press and hold the SELECT button until green light at the top of the remote flashes twice.

5.Then enter 991, the green light on remote should flash twice.

5b. Press 1 again (it will flash twice again), then you press the power on button at the very top right.

6.Point remote at TV and press CHANNEL UP button. Tap the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly until the TV powers off.

*If you hit channel up very fast, you risk going past the code. Pressing channel down will back it up. I alway hit channel up very fast till the tv turns off, then back it up slowly till it comes back on.

7.When the TV powers off, press and release the SELECT button.

*Note: If the green light flashes three times before TV responds, then all codes have been cycled through. Our remote controls are guaranteed to program to your DIRECTV receiver, however your TV may not be compatible with our remote control.

Hi, I've had my xbox 360 elite console for

might want to check the cable, if you are not getting light from the xbox360 most likely you have changed something on the TV. make sure its on the right setting

HDMI device has to be on first in some cases.

make sure the plug is good and well connected.
restart the xbox360 and try again.
try the xbox on another hdmi device to see if it working.
or try the regular mode of the xbox.

RCA D52W23 HDTV; WHEN WE TURN T.V. ON THE GREEN

most likely its the smsp /deflection board for the shut down
there are some caps in the power supply cp 140 cp120 cp114 look at them and see if there puffed up
they will need to be replaced
this could also be a flyback transformer that has failed or a ribbon connector
this where you will have to look for caps first the trouble shoot through it
then you you can addresse the cmp1 issue but id guess thats the ribbon connector causing that one

What to do if tv screen goes green and blue when i put halo3 in x

for this type of issue,it could be the DISC,AV CABLE or the CONSOLE itself.

TRY THIS:

• try using a diff game disc with the same title.if it worked, buy a new disc

• if using a diff game disc wont work, try using a different AV cable (the cable that connects the console to the TV)

• if still doesnt work.process a repair for the console at service.xbox.com or call xbox support hotline for phone assistance, you can also check further troubleshooting steps at xbox.com
