I have 2 avanti ultra croc that stop working after few months. Same problem 69 then ERR and shut down. I tried the reset tips by holding 20 sec the on/off button, nothimg is working. No good at all, two avanti flat iron and both have the same problem. Not happy with the company as no solutions proposed.

Avanti wet dry nano titanium ceramic silver digital flat iron 1 3/8 WD-AVCROC It was working fine then all of a sudden one day it does not have any heat, it shows 450 and then goes to 80 then shows error...

Does it still heat at all? There is a thermal fuse that trips if the iron gets too hot. The fuse can be purchased from DigiKey and others, but it is not easy to replace, and you need a multi-meter to check the fuse. I have repaired dozens of flat irons, not sure about that brand but they're all nearly the same.

Croc only heats up to 230 degrees is there a way to reset it

CHANGE TEMPERATURE SETTING from CELSIUS to FAHRENHEIT

To Change the Temperature Setting from CELSIUS [230 Degrees] to FAHRENHEIT [450 Degrees]

If [230] appears on the display screen, then the temperature is set to Celsius. To change back to Fahrenheit:

1. Turn off your flat iron and unplug from electrical socket (wait for 10secs).

2. Then plug the iron back into the electrical socket.

3. Press & hold down the HIGH [?]button, then press ON/OFF button. An "F" will appear on the digital screen. Your device is now in Fahrenheit mode.
