Question about Krups XP2070 10 cup Coffee Maker/15 bar Pump Espresso
We have had the combi pump espresso machine for about a year now. This morning we used the machine to make a double shot of espresso. By the afternoon we noticed that the display was no longer on and there was no response when pressing the on/off button - we tested the outlet with another appliance to be sure that wasn't the problem. Please help - we love this machine and hope it is still functional!
It appears to be the power module at the bottom of the unit. Service centers sell a replacement unit that includes the control/display module. I don't know how much they charge to replace it. Replacing the power module requires comple disassembly of the unit to make the new connections to the thermal block, solenoid, pump, coffee heaters and control module. You have to take good notes on the connections and it could be a safety risk.
