My right ear bud cuts out every time I move my head. I've only had this pair about six months.

It shows that there is a loose connection.

Take the item back to place of purchase and get a replacement. It should be under warranty.

Take care!

The connection to the speaker is damaged, therefore when you move your head, it either makes or breaks the connection and you in turn either hear the music playing or you don't. The best solution to this problem is to purchase a new set of speakers. However as I said before the unit may be under warranty and therefore may replaced free of charge. Contact the place of purchase in this regard.

You could try and repair it if it is not covered by warranty, you will need to resolder the wires back together. But you will have to determine where in the length of wire the damage has taken place.

Are you sure that the unit is plugged in all the way? Try the headphones in another device, say a computer or laptop.
I am really determined to help you, if you have any questions please feel free to ask me.
    Thanks and Take care!

When you pull the wire up does it increase the right ear bud volume/ sound? If it does, then it means the right side ear bud has a short within the head phones circuit which is aka the wire that leads to the musical device in which the ear buds branch off from.

If the right side ear bud does not produce an increased volume for sound by picking the wire up or pulling it in towards you or to the left side of your body or musical device then it means that the right speaker is blown.

I know that all head phones come spiced together aka they are stuck together and have to be pulled apart in order to get both head phones seperated from each other so that they can be worn in the ears. If you pulled the wire apart to much or too quickly then that is what ruined the right head phone.

I suggest that regardless if the ear phones begin to work by pulling the wire up,side ways, or into towards your body that you return them back to the store since after awhile the problem will eventually continue to happen causing the right ear bud to completely blow. Once you return the ear phones be cautious with the new set when you seperate the ear buds from each other since they are very touchy and have to be handled with delicateness when seperation is taking place.

Please let me know how it works out for you. I have had many ear buds and I tell ya something; they are very easy to blow one side when seperating. I had to learn after a few pairs that I was ruining the speakers by the way I was seperating my wires. I kept thinking for the first 3 pairs that the store was selling blown ear buds until I began having same problems with another few stores so I said to myself "well the solution is to figure out what I am doing wrong in order to blow one side of my ear buds every time". After few seconds it was not that obvious that all I had to do for assembly was to pull the wires apart in order to get both ear buds to go into my ears.

It only lets me listen to music in one ear

  • If you have a warranty I would definitely send it back to the manufacturer. Most companies will pay for shipping for warranty repairs as well. What sounds like has happened happens a lot. The plug the jack plugs into (inside the Mp3 player) gets a cold soldier joint or the jack on the ear buds gets caught on something one to many times and breaks a soldier joint loose.

  • I usually open the media players and reheat the soldier joints myself. If you have already tried a different pair of ear buds it is almost certainly the jack inside the MP3.

  • Hope this helps.

When i put my ear monitors on i only hear on one side i bought a nother pair of ears but now when i sing the music in my ear cuts out?

You may have bought "noise cancelling" ear buds and those cancel out local noise... NOT the type you want for this application !!!

The wires to earbuds are really tender and easily damaged... Make sure the replacement earbuds are the right type for use with your wireless... if necessary, call the vendor to verify.

My skullcandy earphones are busted

could be caused by the way you wrap them up the cords should never be wound tightly it causes a short and it just so happens that earphones are made of light weight wiring to make them seem to disapear when wearing them so what to do is instead of winding them when your done simply fold them loosely so to speak

Losing sound in my Shure ear buds, they are one year old.

the wire breaks after a while in ear buds ,and head phones due to the constant flexing, and moving.they probably need to be remade.by cutting out the bad part of the wire(usually close to the fitting)You can usually wiggle the wire and find where the breaks are that way.it can be a real pain re soldering ear buds.also check the plug end by wiggling the wire there.

Bose in-ear headphones sounds cuts in and out

Well, here's a temporary fix until you guys can get new ones. Pull the plastic stopper about halfway up the phones. Then loop the bottom of the entire headphones through the circle that the plastic stoppers create. When you have a tiny loop, pull the upper stopper down and tighten it. People said that they needed to angle the cable in a certain way, right? Well, this fixed mine for now. Just keep it in that position until you can get a replacement or they come up with a permanent fix.
