SOURCE: Moen 7065 leaking at base of lever control in kitchen faucet

Yes, a cartridge will probably solve it. There are two different Moen cartridges so be sure to take the old one with you so you get the correct one.

ouch sadly im sure it was pricy to have him out  so my suggestion would be to call him back and have him take off the price of what he charged you or have him fix it for no charge could be just need some plumbers putty around the faucet to stop a little water that may seep threw under the faucet good luck

SOURCE: My Delta Faucet Leaks

Check that we were looking at same parts diagram, but I would say RP-70 Ball assy., as well as RP-4993 Seats & springs . If it's only dripping, just seats and spring will usually get you by, but if they are sending parts, free of charge, or ball assy., isn't too expensive, I'd change it too. I have had some luck with removing ball assy, cleaning it well with fine steel wool, then removing seals, and springs, stretching spring slightly, to add more pressure to seal, clean seal, then dab on a little vaseline to seals, and re-assemble.

SOURCE: delta faucet 470-ss-dst is leaking from the spout.

It also may be noted that in some states such as Texas, the water is considered "hard" and tends to leave a lot of calcium deposits and buildup which affect the ability of the little black gaskets to seal. Before anyone plainly changes the gaskets, pay attention to any possible buildup that would impinge upon the ability of the gasket to seal. If you do have buildup, just use some Limeaway or Kaboom and get rid of it before you replace the gaskets and springs. You may want to try and just clean away the deposits first and then reassemble before heading to Home Depot for the parts..? Anyway the advice above is very helpful. If you don't know what parts the advice is referring to, just head on over to DeltaFaucet.com and get your model and drawings. They're very simple to understand.

My Delta 174--WF has a constant drip from the faucet. I'm not sure how to take it apart to fix it, or what parts to replace. Can you help?

Turn off water supply and use allen wrench to remove handle then remove bonnet nut then remove internal parts replacement kits available at most lowe's and other home improvement or hardware store or plumbing supply stores take care to document how everything is removed so you can reinstall exactly how it came out.

I have a Delta Tub/Spout Pull Down Diverter that has a pretty persistent drip. The HOT and COLD handles are turned off and seem to be as tight as they can be. After doing some research online I believe...

If your Delta RP17453 Pull-Down Diverter Tub Spout stops dripping after 5 minutes, your ok. If it never stops dripping, you need to replace delta faucet cartridge(s) behind the handle(s). This is were the water turns on and off and stops the water flow to the tub spout.

Delta faucets are some of the easiest to repair, and parts are usually available at any hardware store or home center. If you have a two handle faucet, replace both delta seats and springs and stems. If you have a single handle Delta faucet, replace the entire cartridge.

I have 5 of these faucets in my home that was built only 2 years ago. All of these faucets leak from the spout. I have replaced cartridges and they still leak.

Did you replace the seats and springs under the cartridges, Delta part number RP4993. These are the more important parts to replace when your Delta faucet is dripping from the spout.

Faucet has constant drip

More info would be helpful.
If it is "Old" then the rubber washer/seal is probably worn in need of replacement. If new it either has a "Defect" or was installed improperly (More likely installed wrong).
SO if NEW then using the installation manual that came with it carfully remove the "Valve". (AFTER TURNING H20 OFF!). Inspect the ruber parts for damage. DELTA 800-345-3358 will replace usually (except cheapos 1or2 yrs) for life the "Defective" parts NOT WHAT YOU DAMAGED.
OLD: Go to www.delta.com look up your faucet or call DELTA and ask for the "Manual" it will give you blow by blow instructions on YOUR FAUCET how to remove/replace/repair. It is fairly simple to do. AND Delta is a VERY GOOD CO. they honor their warranties. SO DON'T ABUSE THEIR GOOD NATURE, but DO GET FREE PARTS if you deserve them. There are so few companies like that any more, lets try to keep them that way.

I have a two-handle Delta faucet that drips.  With both handles turned completely to off, the faucet drips at a about 1 drip every 15 seconds

sounds like you need to replace the valve seats. if you shut the water off and remove the handles you will see the valves. you have to remove them and under that you should see these little black things. they come out but have springs under them so be careful. the black things are the valve seats. i would start by replacing them
