The only Samsung dryer code that is similar to E9 is 9E1 or E9E. On the SmartCare dryes (gas or electric), 9E1 a power or control board fault. You can try to reset it by unplugging the dryer for 5 minutes (unplug or trip the circuit breaker). If the error recurs, make sure that the incoming voltage supply is between 105 and 130 VAC. If the voltage is correct, then replace the control board. E9E indicates the same problem on other Samsung dryers.
There are some Samsung dryers that may share parts with the Maytag/Whirlpool lines. On these, the E9 error is a door switch failure. Check the latch and hinges. Next check that the switch has the correct resistance across it. Check the wiring, including all contacts and the wiring harness. Replace the control board if the rest of the system is fine.
Please add a comment with your model number for more information.
F01 means the main control boardor "micro computer" has detected an internal short. Unfortunately, the only way to correct this issue is to replace the control board itself. It's under the top panel in the front right corner.
The "E9E" code means Low Voltage is seen at the Control Board. Make sure the RED wire on the Control Board that connects to the Heater Relay is not loose or burnt. This is the LINE ONE voltage supply to the Control Board and if it has a bad, loose or burnt connection it will cause E9E to display. If there are no loose of burnt wire connections then the control board will likely need to be removed and replaced.
the E9 error code problem could be with door switch wiring, the door switch or the control board.but E2 problem occurs when a button is pressed for more than 30 seconds.Check for any such button else the problem is surely with the control board.
PF means Power Failure!
Unplug both units for 10 minutes, then plug them back in and try operating them. You may need an electrician to investigate why you are losing power to both units
