This did not work. The motor does not turn on at all even after spinning it for awhile. The screen lights up but that is all it seems to do. I even let it stand for awhile in case moisture had gotten in as suggested in the troubleshooting part of the manual. But no dice. Any other suggestions?

The motor probably froze up over time. You need to put a disc in and spin it with your finger around in the direction it normally turns in play mode. Do that for a while and then see if it will do on it's own.

Taking one apart to get to the motor to add lubrication such as 3-in-one oil can be very difficult because the parts are fragile. The only other thing is if the motor is turning and you can't hear it then it is the belt that came off or is loose because of setting up so long. Even getting to the belt is very difficult. If you did take it apart and got it back together it would not last very long anyway. It would be better to get a new one since they are so difficult to repair.

Samsung N145 Plus battery charge failure

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Lights on Rechargable Lantern.. Swissgear SG66301

I don't know how to solve your problem but, the three lights mean this:
Red LED light indicates the battery is being charged
Green LED light indicates that the battery is fully charged
Amber LED light incidates that the battery power level is low - the battery needs recharge.
Do not recharge you battery over 24 hours.

Need help charging my mintek dvd player battery

The way the battery is usually charged is by plugging it into the player and plugging the player into the a/c outlet. Do not use the player, Just allow the player to charge the battery. The way you tell if the charging is working is the light on the front will usually be a red color and it will be steady color or blinking while charging. When the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green or turn off . This lets you know that the battery has fully charged. To test this try using the dvd player on the battery only. Play a dvd or cd and see if the battery is working properly. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Looks like the power board in the device is defective. Best suggestion (and cheaper option) would be to simply buy a new portable..

DO NOT continue to try to charge that battery. The company recalled those batteries because they explode or start on fire. Do a google search of "mintek" and you can read about the recall.

Nothing happens when I try to play a movie

Sounds like an internal hardware issue, if you feel daring enough, try oppening the case and see if anything is out of place, otherwise, You can either take it back to the store for a refund/exchange or contact the manufacturer and tell them it is defective.  Usually if this is the case they wil;l send you a new one for free.  Good Luck ;)
