Take out the battery. Put the phone in a ziplock bag of rice and leave it overnight. The rice will absorb the water.

My Safelink Wireless phone got wet while I was out in a recent storm and hasn't worked since. What do you suggest I do?

Not a good thing to happen, you can try taking battery and covers off and leaving the phone in a warm dry place for a few days and hope that all the internal componts will dry and that they have not been damaged. Otherwise you will have to replace the phone.

Why come I don't hear a chime when I stick my key

It's called 'The seven year itch', just a year late. You just don't ring your car's chimes anymore.

Samsung freeform II got wet, call and end call keys don;t work, and menu icons won't stop flashing

This has worked for me in the past when my son had a habit of washing his phone . First get a container that the phone will fit into .next remove the battery. then put dry rice in the container .then put the phone and battery in the container with the rice then fill it so that the entire phone is covered .the rice will draw the moisture out of the phone leave in at least 24hrs the longer lhe better your chance it will work. good luck hope it works for you.

I took a picture, and saved it to my phone. Now, i don't want it anymore.

Delete it then and it'll be gone.
If you don't know how to do that. Then let me know what make and model of phone you have and I'll get you step by step instructions on doing it.
Thank you

Shift button does not work in laptop

Sometimes keys get stuck and sometimes the contacts don't work anymore. Carefully turn the laptop over and gently tap it on the back to knock out any grit that might be under the key. You can also carefully use a soft paint brush to see if there's any hair, dirt or grit around the key that is preventing contact. You can also try canned air to spray out dust. If you have a pet it's quite common to get fur in the keyboard even when the cat or dog isn't near it :)

Keys on laptops don't come off and go back on as easily as they do on normal keyboards so removing the key might get you into a break it. So I wouldn't recommend trying that if you're not familar with how it connects.

It could be that the mechanism has worn out in which case you'll have to replace the keyboard itself.

Phone got wet and is now completely dead,,,any tips??

Yep. Don't get your new phone wet. (you asked for a tip)

I have lost several phones due to water. I have never had success getting them going again. Cut your loss, don't fool with it, replace it.

There are some things you could try ... remove the battery ... set the phone in a bowl of rice for several days ... none of these tricks helped in my case.

If you have phone insurance, contact them. I have always had a new replacement in less than 24 hours.

Thanks for your quesiton ... I hope I have helped you. Thanks for using

My blackberry pearl trackball doesnt work

Take it where you bought it and try to get it replaced, saying it's defective. Hopefully you're under warranty, unlike myself who has a **** blackberry who's radio keeps turning off randomly and won't make or recieve calls without having to manually reconnect 'mobile network' hundreds of times a day. Your phone must have got really wet though because buttons and **** don't ******* unless exposed to extremly wet conditions (trust me, I know). I'd like an iphone over this **** for damn sure but i'm stuck with any annoying and fairly useless phone for now.
