You dont say what model Lexmark printer this is but usually the easiest way to cancel the documents the obvious. Turn both the printer and computer off, leave for 5 minutes and turn the computer only back on. Check to make sure there are no pending jobs in the queue and then turn the printer back on. Hopefully that should work.

Not sure if this helps, but you should first try to tell the system to delete or cancel all print packages. What is typically happening is that there is a problem with the first item in the queue, and all the others behind it or listed below it won't print eighter - by deleting the troublesome print, it may take time but it should clear - HP would often do that, but totally shutting down cold was the only way to clear the queue. When both the PC and printer did a cold boot, then the queue would be clear. If not then maybe check with the manu of your printer for their advice

HP photosmart C5280 document stuck in print que

Delete document manually from the path mentioned below:

1) Press windows + R an then type spool
2) Go to PRINTERS folder.
3) Delete the files present in there.

If not able to delete then
1) Open command prompt.
2) type "net stop spooler" and then delete the files
3)Again type "net start spooler"

Your stuck document is now cleaned. You can start printing your document again.

This happens periodically, for me restarting the machine has always fixed the issue. If it didn't for you I would suggest removing and reinstalling the printer.

Some word document printed every time I turn on my printer

Agreed. The printer would appear to be holding this job. Have seen this on much newer kit but there is no way of deleting it. Even if you reset the eeprom that data will not be cleared. The only fix is a new main board and that's well obsolete. So unfortunately that's really the end of the printer. Wish I could of been of more help. one thought though have to tried it on another pc? If its the same then yes its the printer but if no then you need to delete everything in c:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS then Delete all of the .SPL and SHD files you find in this folder (do not delete the PRINTERS folder, just its contents)
Good luck

Hp psc 1410 cannot delete remote redirected print job

There is a option in printer box "Purge Print document" you try that option, After Purge then delete the document, which is still present in your box. At a time turn off the printer. All the pending printing commands will delete.
