Cr-H258i Cd Receiver, working ok,iPod touch, working fine, Teac DS 22 dock, less than month old, has worked, but now keeps coming up as 'not connected' on the stereo display. Tried reconnecting iPod and/or dock many times but don't know what else to try. [the connections seem fine ,and stereo and iPod work o.k. on their own]

The DS22 is nothing more than a data cable with a case around one of its end plus a simple set of extra connectors - no electronics whatsoever.
If the dock is detected as unconnected then either the cable that it uses to connect to the main unit has broken a wire internally or the connector itself (the one to the device) has one of the pins detached. Since both defects are unfixable - the cable can't be spliced to repair the breakage and the pins can't be resoldered - it means that the dock is dead and you will have to buy a new one.
Luckily it's not a very expensive item, it won't cost you much to replace it.

I have a TEAC AH300 stack with tape deck, cd, etc.. It's about 13 years old work perfect. Can I connect to iPod an listen to music through the TEAC?

If it has aux or audio input then yes, you will still need the docking station to the type of inputs that are available on the Teac. It should all be line level.

I too purchased the DenonASD11R Ipod dock to connect to my Denon AVR2311 Receiver, and I too experienced the same problem. I think it might be software compatiabilty issues between Ipod Gen 4, the Dock and Receiver. Some other Denon Ipod Docks are not compatiable with Ipod Touch 4. I returned my Dock and received full refund, and will be waiting for Denon to bring out another Ipod Dock which will work with Ipod Gen 4

Working fine for 6 months with Apple ipod touch but now no longer charges ipod when docked - - any reason?

Aug 07, 2009 - OK, I found the answer...there was a problem with the updated Windows service pack. I had to uninstall all applications(even in recycle bin) of all previous service packs including the new service pack 3. Then, went to Windows update and reinstalled the service pack 3 only and after installation, my ipod came to life! It was beautiful....Must be a compliant problem with the packs...I don't know!

I had the same problem but with a different TEAC docking product.
My TEAC would not recognize my ipod therefore I was unable to control my ipod via the docking station remote control.
Plug your ipod into the docking station and power down (reboot) your ipod. Once the ipod powers down (in the dock) restart the ipod (yes, while in the dock).
