Black lines on copy come from toner cartridge, or drum unit, or fuser unit which is in the back. check drum and see if you can see line, back of machine with flash light you may be able to see line on fuser roller. Be carefull Fuser is hot.
A copy that is good and then starts to get lines usually the drum unit...
Push menu on your printer, then fin maintainance. Then go to clean printer and push the green button. It will clean the cartridges for you and that should help.
I was getting a verticle black line and I had to clean the glass, the long white bar above the glass, and the white and black rollers before my problem was solved.
Not sure what you have tried but if there are no lines when printing but there when scanning there is something on the scanner. Could be something as small a single dot of dirt and it will put a line down the whole page. Try cleaning the glass.
