Is this camera around $175.00 to $200.00? You can get an estimate for repair if you want, however, a repair person will probably charge for an estimate. Repairs on Digi cams are expensive, so I'll have to advise you to replace it. Sorry, I couldn't
give you a nicer answer.

Thank you for using Fix Ya

My Kodak EasyShare M530 will not turn on, and it is making buzzing noises when I try to turn it on.

its a lens jammed issue. Noise came from lens area. Use air on the lens area for cleaning the dust and then try. If required then trust it in other hand little bit. Not too harder.

My kodak c195 keeps saying lens obstructed and the lens won't go down

There is a tiny motor that extends and retracts the lens, sometimes it will jam because part of the gear breaks causing it to malfunction, I would imagine the cost to repair will be high

I have a customer that wants to know if his kodak easyshare sv811 that he bought in june 2007 has a warranty from u

It looks like the whole question did not post, but Kodak has a 1 year parts and labor warranty on new cameras. Some stores like Best Buy sell protection plans that extend the warranty, plus cover accidental handling, like a cracked screen or jammed lens. If they bought that, the store may be able to look it up.

Lens extends part way then jams. New battery does not help.

Have it repaired. There are authorized service centers throughout the county. I know of one in North Miami and Delray Beach, FLorida. You can contact Kodak on line as well

Lens jams when extending or retracting

This is either due to a cracked internal roller or a cracked/broken internal cam. The lens will have to be sent to Tamron for repair.

Lens jammed on a kodak v1253

I fixed my v1253 following these steps:
1. Pulled the battery when the lens starts to come out before it could power itself off.
2. Gently pull the telescope out until it clicks.
3. Use a fine tip paint brush to clear debris out of the cracks.
Camera works just fine now.
