How do I get the water out from under the carpets of a Subaru 2011 Outback?

Most cars have a set of rubber plugs conveniently located under the carpet and they go through the floor. You can pull them out from underneath the car, or at worst, by pulling off a couple of panels to get to the carpets. They are usually about 1.5 inches in diameter. If you leave them out of the car for a couple of days depending on the weather, the water will dissipate.

2001 Grand Am GT 3400 engine Anyway, air vent speed control nothing comes out at speed control 1, very little at 2, alot of flow at 3, 4 What do I need to do? Bruce

There is a little resistor or something like that at the bottem of the heater box on the passenger side. It has two I think 7mm screws going up through it into housing, I had to cut some insulation under the carpet to get one of them out. Just puoo back carpet under dash and you'll see it.

Is there anyway to activate a phone that was reported stolen?

No. You can not activate a phone that was reported stolen unless the person whom had the phone under contract takes it into the phone company and reports that they have it back. Thanks!

My car,Suzuki Alto Auto SZ4, O9 reg purchased new from Suzuki approved dealer. Have trouble with no wash supply to rear window. Also carpet under drivers feet on the sill side very wet. Car taken to dealer...

The pipe has come off its connection, push the drivers seat fully back and kneel on the ground beside the seat. Stick you head in the footwell as far as you can and look to the right (drivers side) past the back of the fusebox. You'll see a few inches of clear plastic pipe protruding from under the carpet which connects to a nipple mounted on the inner side panel of the car via a right angled black rubber pipe. On mine the right angled pipe had come off the nipple. Push it back on and all is well until it freezes again. Cable tie is one answer.

My Blackberry Bold 2 (9700) doesn't play any alerts when the battery level is low. I don't have the manual, so I can't tell if this is standard, or if there is anyway to fix this issue. Any help...

Hi this is normal for all BLACKBERRYS. What happens is the radio signal goes off. Charge your battery. Once you have a full charge on the phone take the battery out and rub the barcode where the sound strip is. Then putt the battery back in this should help solve that problem for you. Also don't let your bb get in the red to often it has an adverse affect on the phone. BB run on radio signals.

How do i get my spair tire down?

hi this is normally done by using the tyre iron the thing that you use to undo the wheel nuts, as i do not know what model you have as you didn't say, i will tell you have to do it on a normal 4x4 open the trunk/boot, under a flap in the carpet at the rear end ( if pick up you will see it anyway no need to pick up carpet tap) there is a bolt head in the floor, use the tyre iron to undo this , as you undo it, the cage that holds the tyre under the vehicle drops down slowly till you get to a point that you can take the tyre out of the cage...hope that helps please rate and vote thanks

You could try reflashing your BlackBerry Bold 9700 with the latest firmware to see if that helps. All kinds of erratic behavior can be solved by doing this. The latest BlackBerry Bold 9700 system software is available through here.

I lost my I phone, but it is protected with a password. Is it easy to break into the i phone?

Don't worry so much about someone getting into your files, IMMEDIATELY call your service provider and terminate your service before you get a bill that will be in the $1,000.00's of dollars.

Whether you have compromising data in your phone or not, I'm sorry to hear you lost it. Your main concern should be to protect yourself financially. You may not have to 'face the music' (for off color data on your phone) if it is truly lost, as in gone forever. Still, please report the loss to the service provider, your insurance company and the police. DO IT NOW!!!

Why do I say these things? I frequently find questions here and elsewhere concerning unlocking the security code on a telephone (default is normally the last 4 digits of a phone number). How can someone forget the code? My pesumption is, generally, the person asking the question is not the rightful owner of the phone. This is not to say there are legitimate cases where the owner has locked the phone accidently (I did it myself) or someone else locked it unbeknownst to the owner, maybe as a joke. I called the service provider to find the answer.

Anyway, if you have not made the reports I recommended yet - STOP READING THIS AND GO MAKE THE REPORT NOW!!! I dont want to see you back here asking how you can get out from under the $1,000.00 bill you received after your phone was lost.

I hope this helps you
