My Proline LVD1985WD TV keeps saying No Signal in the middle of programs, although the aerial is connected and functioning fine when we tried it on another tv for 3 days straight with no loss of signal. What could be the problem?

I'm having the same problem, i think it's something to do with a hardware fault with the dvb, your ariel is fine. If you have warranty on your tv set then take it back and ask for your money back and get a different tv altoghether. i've had three of these tv's and they all do the same thing. I gave up and got a samsung 19", I havn't had any problems with it. sorry that this isnt a fix to your problem as i dont think there is one, even tryed a firmware update, but they dont broadcast one for this tv so i'm at a loss with this, all the best.

Why does my new television keep pixcelating? I tried another television & it is fine. I have a booster on my aerial & another on the tv.

If it breaks up with large pixels it is a lack of signal but in your case it might be too strong a signal. On a new set it is unlikely you need to boost the signal. Try removing them. Also check the connections on your satellite or cable box. If you use a signal via an aerial, check for nice clean connections on the junction box at the aerial itself.

Why can't my TV find a digital signal when connected to my digital ready aerial? Tuning for digital stations finds none. Does this TV require a set top box? If not how can I make it find and play n

hey, when connect any aerial in the back of the TV make sure you have a look for the name of the connection you use ( Skart,ext1,ext2,usb,hdmi1, hdmi2 etc.) so you can do a search on that extension. if you connect something on Hdmi1 and search on hdmi2 you won't find anything. you have to search on Hdmi1. PS: good luck.

I have an Alba 16 inch flatscreen tv with built in digital tv. When i try to do initial setup or auto install it says check antenna connection even although ariel is in. Can you help

Do you have an indoor or outdoor aerial?
Indoor aerials will not have the strength to pick up television broadcast signal.
Double check your connections, as you could have a loose wire or connection somewhere.
You might need to speak to someone who, can take a look at your aerial to see if it is configured correctly.
Also to make sure it isn't a problem with the aerial, do you have another TV that you can try using on the aerial. to see if you can get signal?

if you have connected your sky box as per instructions, putting the aerial coax to it and a fly lead(as in a male to female coax as used on a vcr to tv) from the output to the tv's aerial input, then disconnect the aerial from the sky box and put it back to the tv. The skybox will weaken and even loose the signal.

Just moved into flat and my tv keeps saying no signal but i know its ok? i dont have the manual with me

You will have to retune the TV to the incoming signal, if you have tried this & still get "no signal" then you will need to check the incoming aerial connection & if there is a good aerial fitted for the flat.

Bush TV Model No 5693D

Try using the source button to switch through different inputs.

If that does not work try connecting a signal booster to the aerial, they cost about ten pounds at Argos.
