Question about Hisense LHD3204US 32 in. LCD HDTV

1 Answer

A white line has appeared in the center of the screen and we cannot get it to go away. We knew little to do except to turn the system off and on. We will try unplugging the system and unhooking and re-hooking it to the cable provider.

Good day!

try to play a dvd movie or recorded tv shows on your tv.

if the problem persist, your problem is not on the cable.

try to open the cover of your tv and look at the power supply inside.

you have better chances if you have failing capacitors on the power supply.
look the actual image and look if it is bulged on the top.
replaced it with the same type, ratings and value.

i hope this solution will be helpful.please don't forget to rate my answer.

thank you and good luck

The line down the center of the Hisense TV screen is caused by the TV, not the cable company. It appears as soon as the TV is turned on even if the cable is off. We have disconnected both the TV and the cable and then returned them back on and the line is still there.

OK try to open the cover of your tv to see if there's any bulged caps on the boards

RE: GE cooking center microwave JKP85 - there is

I have exactly the same problem. I take it no one has offered a solution to this. Don't know if this is a lining coming loose and potentially dangerous. Anyone know?

Very horizontal faint white lines running down the screen

hi,

check if the line appears in BIOS...dont worry when i say BIOS...not sure how to check...turn the system off...restart the system and keep tapping the F2 key...you would get a Blue screen...check if the lines appear on this screen...if it appears...it could either be b'cause the display driver has gone wrong or the system might have a physical damage.....if the lines does not occur on this screen....it is a manufacturing defect...please contact the manufacturer and report the issue for solution.......

I dropped my laptop and now the screen is messed up.

Ack. Sounds like you might need to replace your screen (sounds pricey but is cheaper than a new laptop). You can find second hand/refurbished screens or another Aspire with a working screen being sold for parts on Ebay or here

On a side note, if you a have a PC monitor lying around, you can access your files by hooking it up to your laptop via the dvi slot. Granted, it seems a bit ghetto but its a quick fix until you get something more permanent.

I recently broke my iPhone screen and completely shattered a dell laptop a few years ago. You know all those people who are adamant about you buying proper carrying/protective cases? Screw 'em.

Philips 27PT6441 27" TV Problem

jon5902,

Pls note that my experience is with the phillips 27" model27PT6341/07. It may not be the same board as yr model, as I can't remember nor find the service manual anymore. (browse around online for it though)

However, after taking the back off. Look close to the rca jack and svideo connection. Mine is located about an inch from the svideo connection.

Here are some pics that may help you.

The new one is the black and gold one marked 10uf 100v in the pic.
Other users have advised to go as high as 10uf 250v, to avoid having the cap overload again.

PS. I had the lines for about 2 weeks. They got steadily worse then one day my tv looked like it was broadcasting an hourglass. The lines converged in the center and flared outward (no pic).

Vertical white line in center of monitor

Your monitor may have been cracked somehow...

Try restarting and look to see if the line is there immediately from the start or does it only show up when your operating system (windows/linux) loads?

Toshiba colorstream 27A33 TV

1.Are these lines only in the upper 1/3 rd portion of the screen? And is there a clear demarcation between this area and the lower portionb, where the image is perfect? 2.Or is thin Horizontal lines evenly spaced around an centimetre apart? If it is the first case, then there si a problem with your TVs SMPS. It is not generating the required regulated 110V required for the TVs functioning. If it is case 2, then there is a simple adjustment at the back - 'SCREEN'. This adjusts the Screen Grid Voltage, and by slightly lowering it, this problem will go away.
