My lg inverter ac low cooling what problem?

May be many different issues. Start by having a professional service the unit (clean & visual inspection). Have you cleaned air filters? Service will wash the o.d. unit with a water hose. Turn off system at the controller, turn off line voltage at a breaker, clean outdoor coil with a water hose. Turn breaker back on and then turn controller to cool/ set temp down. Allow 15-30 mins of operation. If this don't help, call a service provider.

Our older model amana wall unit is in the garage and worked fine until we programmed a new remote control garage door opener in there this morning. The ac unit was not on at the time but we went to turn it...

If it says E0 then what this usually means is that the unit was unplugged or power was cut to the unit while the unit was on. It then needs to be programmed again. If its the amana/goodman RSKP0009, you need to hold temp up and down arrows down together for two seconds then press off twice. It will take you into the programming mode. Settings are different for heat pump and electric heat models. If you just need a quick fix to get it to cool, I think you can get away with pushing the heat button a few times and then off. If you did it right the display should go off and the light by the off button will turn on. Press cool and it should work.

UNIT KEEPS FREEZING UP. WE HAVE THAWED IT OUT MANY TIMES AND SAME THING HAPPENS. IS THERE A RESET BUTTON?

have you checked the filter ? do you have the temp set to low? are you trying to cool to big an area? shut it down again and let it thaw out. set the stat to mid range and trun it back on. close all unused rooms. when the unit cycles of and its still not cool enough turn the tstat down unilt it comes back on and leave it there.. unil the rom temp reaches 72-74 degree. thats the best set point .. you might be about to get it down to 70. but my bet is 1 dirty filter. and set temp to low.

Lighted control panel on front all lit up, not able to change temp settings or any other settings.

Hello Loki0228,

I understand that you are experiencing a problem with the control panel on the front of your fridge. You may want to reset it to factory settings. To do this you will need to press on the factory defaults image for three seconds. The factory defaults is located on the upper right next to the on/of emblem.

This should reset the whole unit back to factory settings and allow you to change the temp to the desired temps. If this does not work unplug the unit for 2 minutes and plug it back in and it should restart the system.

Thank you for choosing FixYa.com

My remote controller of the split type machine have two keys such as 'TOO COOL ' AND 'TOO WARM' . May I get the information about functioning of these keys in which situation use .

If you press Too Warm, temp will automatically 3 degree goes down as setting temp. and same when you press Too Cool, set temp will raise + 3degree.

In your remote set temp is 24 and you press Too Warm, set temp becomes 21 and same in Too Cool will become 27. It's normally in O'General a/c May be 2 differ in other units instead of 3degree. Thanks, and helpful?

I have two ptac units, both want to run 5 or 6 mins. and cut off

Make sure there is nothing in front of the units, Chair, Couch ect, if you take the cover off the Units, you will see a little black Thermoster attached to the coil.
If the air bounces back off of something then it will cool that Thermoster and shut the unit down before the desired room temp is acualy reached.
Also make sure your Thermastat control knob is turned far enough to the right so that its asking for more cooling, Or desired temp.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!

I have 2 of these ACs one remote is missing and the other was dropped in water. You can use the AC. Plug the unit in and hold the on/off button down for about 20 sec.or until the unit comes on. The cooling unit will come on but you will not have any control on the temp or fan speed, but you will have cool air and not just the fan running.

Dometic a/c, duotherm thermostat, turns right back on after it reaches desired temperture.

I have a dometic 13500 BTU Roof mount a/c. It is set up with the duo-therm analog thermostat. The system cools fine. The problem is that the a/c gets down to the right temp, then it turns off like it should but turns right back on within a few seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
