Question about Lexmark P4350 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

P4350 All in one Lexmark. I need a part for my Lexmark printer, which does not appear to be available. The clip lid which holds the black ink cartridge in place onto the sliding carriage which joins the belt has sheered off, so I cannot insert a black ink cartridge and get it to stay in place to print.Where can I get this part, or even the whole carriage piece to hold both black and colour inks?

It is possible that the hinge that popped out is causing some trouble feeding the paper into the printer. That may be difficult to repair on your own and Lexmark does not have replacement for that part. You can try to have it repaired in some shops.
If not, try to contact Lexmark technical support center for your options. Thanks.

My ink was showing low so i just bought lexmark combi ink from tesco L111 number 34 and 35 and yet printer is still showing ink as empty why is this printer is p4350 model

use the menu on the printer and select the printer options-> ink cartridge-> new ink cartridge and the ink meter should be reset.
Remember that the printer does not actually read the amount of ink in the cartridge it makes predictions about the ink levels based on the number of pages printed on the cartridge.

With the printer turned on, lift the scanning unit up until it locks open. Then open the lids on the cartridge slots (push in at the bottom and swing up). Put the cartridges into the slots (after removing them from the protective storage compartment and removing the tape and sticker). Put the photo cartridge or black cartridge in the left slot (grey cover) and the color cartridge in the right hand slot. Then snap the lids closed and lower the scanning unit.

The documentation for the printer is available from Lexmark: .

I hope this helps.

I have a Lexmark P4350 printer. Just bought new manufactured ink cartridges. The black cartridge works fine. The tricolor cartridge won't print at all - I removed the tape, cleaned both the printer and the...

Mostly, printer cartridge error occurs when the printer head is unable to identify the cartridge properly. And the basic reason behind this is that the cartridge is improperly attached.

To reattach the cartridge check the following steps :

turn on the lid of the printer and then remove the cartridge from the printer head.

Check the cartridge to make sure that there are no scratches or other damaged parts that can contribute to a printer cartridge error report.

Take note that the cartridge should not be left open for more than 30 minutes; otherwise the ink will start to dry up and the cartridge will get clogged.

Ink cartridges

It's pretty simple. You lift up the scanning lid and bed, with the printer on, and the printer cartridges will settle to the middle. There is a plastic clip that holds the cartridges in place. You push down on the front, and it comes up and loose. Replace the cartridge, seating it firmly, and push the clip back over and down to lock it. The quick guide that came with the printer explains the process, if you still have it. Good luck, hope helps.

MY LEXMARK P4350 IS LEAKING BLACK INK. And the color isn't printing correctly.

This could relate to a problem with the ink cartridges. The only real way to tell is to replace them with new ones. That should take care of both problems.

Ink Cartridge

Make sure the power is on when you open the lid. The cartridges should move into the center so you can get to them. If they don't, close the lid, remove the power supply and reinsert it. Turn the printer back on and try again.
