it may have something stuck in the blade (on top of motor) or the impeller (at bottom of motor) to get to the impeller the motor complete will have to be removed out of the pump casing. Also check the discharge pipe for any obstructions. Also there is a pump cover plate located at the bottom of the motor and it will cause the unit to make a loud grinding noise if anything is stuck in there.

My fan won't come up tp speed. I checked all woring and everything is ok. I took the fan blades off and the motor comes up to speed but once I put the blades back on the fan barely turns??

First thing I would do is remove fan blades again and carefully clean them with a non-petroleum based cleaner. Wipe to remove any small bits of dust, dirt or pet hair. Most units like this use a very small motor and it dosn't take much to slow them down. Some as small as 1/20 H.P. Next I would check to see if there are any oiling ports on top of motor. Some do some don't. If yours does it should have a plastic or rubber plug. Remove plug and use 2-3 drops of fine grade oil, such as 3-in-1 oil.Reinstall plug and see if that helps. If no oil ports are available you can use a aresol cleaner rated for use on electrical equipment. If you can get to them I would also clean, spray and/or lube around blade shaft ends, wiping off all extra.Hope this helps. Thanks

How to unclog the macerator - Saniflo TurboFlush P

First unplug the unit from the GFI, remove all the piping attached to the pump, remove the pump completely out the back of the toilet. Pry open the lid with a flat head screw driver, remove 2 screws in front of the pump and the motor and pressure chamber can be pulled out the top as one piece. Inspect the blades (on top of motor) also inspect the impeller which is at the bottom of the motor, you must turn the black pump cover plate counter clock wise to unlock it and inside there you will find the impeller. Also check the drain pipe for obstructions.

My printer prints color stripes on approximately the first five pages of every run and every time it pauses during a long run it restarts printing with color stripes again for the first few pages. I have...

One possible cause could be the transfer belt cleaning section. It can get a toner build up on the blade. Take it out and wipe the blade off. The transfer unit is above the drums and the cleaner is on the left side.

Pages printing blank

Resolving white, light lines or streaks (eliminate light stripes)

From the printer, print the Troubleshooting Print Quality Pages.
With Troubleshooting highlighted, press the OK button.
Scroll to Print Quality Problems by pressing the Up or Down Arrow button. Press OK.

Scroll to Troubleshooting Print Quality Page. Press OK.
Evaluate the Light Stripes Test page for missing printhead jets (missing cyan, magenta, yellow or black color bars).

Clean the maintenance unit's wiper blade and empty the waste tray. A dirty maintenance drawer wiper blade can cause white lines and weak or missing printhead jets. Using a clean lint-free cloth or a paper coffee filter, gently clean the blade with a wiping motion across the entire length of the wiper blade.

That is fault caused by the print head not being able to move freely.
There are a few things that can cause that. Here are the most likely problems.
1. With the side covers removed, there is a stainless steel block located about midway back toward the bottom of the frame. If is silver and about 1 inch square. What happens with that is some ink spills into that print block and the print head will not move back and forth properly. You remove the spring holder over that block and most likely need some channel lock pliers to slide the block off if it has ink in it. Clean that and the shaft thoroughly
2. The wiper blade is stuck between the print head and the drum. Normally happens with a power failure or not properly shutting the machine down properly. You have to remove the document feeder, scanner, side covers and ink loader ( where you put the ink sticks). That will expose the drum/print head area. See if the blade is stuck and gently peel it from the print head, then run the remove light stripes procedure in troubleshooting from the user interface.
3. The Process control motor can come out of timeing. But 90 percent of the time it is a contaminated print block or stuck blade.

Blank stripes on page left to right

If the blank stripes go up and down the page (vertical) then it sounds like the laser lens has simply got toner on it. remove the toner and photo conductor units. Look for the glass panel that covers the laser lens and simply wipe it off with a cloth. Some machines incorporate a lens wiping pad that can clean the lens without taking out the parts. I can not remember if the 1710 does or not.
