This is what you do. you plug the flash drive into the usb port. you open the file you have your pictures and click and drag your whole picture file, or just the pictures you want. It doesnt matter. It all works the same.

If you have a reader/adapter.....use that.....if not, then you will either need to connect it via the device /usb..... or go get a card reader....Is the card SD, MicroSD, or MiniSD?... (ignoring the "hc=High capacity....not relavent yet to your problem so ignore the hc if your card says "SDHC"....)

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How is the Toshiba tool bar identified in 'add/remove' programs list?

This toolbar is called "Flashcards". Go to Programs on your Start up menu and click on Toshiba then open "Utilities" and then click on "Settings for Flashcards" and then select "Disable Flashcards".

Can I back up my pictures online as I do w/ contact info?

Yes, I do believe you can back up your pictures online. You could also try buying a flashcard for your phone and saving all your pictures on there so you can keep your photos even if you switch phones.

How to upload a flashcard?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

There are also plenty of photo catalog software packages out there, some free, some not, that can transfer and catalog your pictures so you can quickly find pictures from Susie's birthday party, for example. Just do a google search for "photo catalog software".

I have a Fostex MR-8 MKII 8-track recorder, and as soon as I turn it on it says 'card error' and 'illegal format'.My compact flashcard is 2GB Sandisk, how can I solve this problem?

First you can format the flashcard FAT-32 on your computer. If that does not help your card maybe broken or the brand is not supported. Than try to use another brand. Kingston and Transcend always make te best choice.

Can't download pictures from camera to laptop. Never had a problem before. It states USB is not recognised, bought a new USB lead & it still doesn't work. USB card reader doesnt work on my laptop....

Let's go all the way back to your card reader not working when you plug it in. Are you sure? Sometimes you have to open "my computer" to find it...it will be a removable drive.

Downloading images to computer.

While the camera is in the viewing mode plug the camera into the computer using the provided USB cable. As soon as you do that a window from windows should show up with all of your pictures located on your SD flashcard.
