the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

What video editing software for Panasonic DMC-TZ7

Till now, there is no such software which can edit mts file. What people usually do is to convert mts to other regular format first, then use Windows Movie Maker, Sony vegas or other edit tools to do some editing.
I always use Pavtube Video Converter(http://www.pavtube.com/video_converter/) to help me convert mts files to other formats supported by my edit tool. For example, i tried to convert mts to wmv to import my Windows Movie Maker for editing.

Hi let me know how to import vidoes from jvc camcorder to PC and is it necessary any software.

Dear i have send for your problem's solution.
you can learn this instruction for import your data.
thanks.
1, Record your video as normal. Plug the camera into the AC adaptor, and the USB plug. Connect this to your Mac.
2. A new drive will appear. Open it. Copy the contents of the SD_Video folder onto your mac.
3. Delete anything that isn’t a .mod file as these are irrelevant.
4. Rename all the .mod to .mpeg and change the extension when prompted.
5. Download ffMpegX and the necessary binaries
6. Open up ffMpegX and open the first .mpeg file. Convert this to a .MOV, .DV, .AVi file or whatever format you need. Final Cut is best with DV (although uses a lot of bytes).
7. Repeat as necessary for all your .MPEG files.

How do I upload videos?

Hi Elisa, I was having the same problem with my MAC. I have a G5 tower. After much searching, here's what I found:
If you open up Image Capture and have this open when your camera is connected. You will be able to download everything, including AVI files. Once you've downloaded the file, open up iMovie. Import the file into iMovie. Do what you need to do and then you can export it as a Quicktime movie.
Phew!

Movies taken with camera can't be viewed once on pc

It sounds like you need to download the codec to be able to play back the video. It'll be xVid or something like that. I'm not entirely sure what you need, but it definitely sounds like a missing codec.

Archiving Digital Camcorder Video - Ideal Formats

Let's try to bottomline this. If you want said DVD to play in most players, you'll be encoding the video according to standards. The current DVD is MPEG2. At the current time, most people just have DV camcorders so you don't see the generational loss as you move the video from DV to DVD. At least I don't.
