Question about Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110

1 Answer

Mouse and Keyboard not functioning!

I tried changing the batteries already, but both the keyboard and mouse don't work. I pressed the button on the "tower" at the same time as the mouse, and the three LED lights just sort of flashed and only the middle light, the "F" light is on. The other lights, the "A" and "1" lights still aren't on. I also tried doing the same thing with the keyboard and the tower buttons, and I received the same results, with no fix. I'm not very technologically adept, so help would be greatly appreciated!

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

Hi.
Before starting, make sure the keyboard and mouse are ON and with batteries.

Whit the PC already ON:
* The first step is to plug in the USB Bluetooth adaptor.
* Once the Bluetooth adaptor is inserted, allow Windows to install the drivers.
* Once Windows gives it the OK, the USB dongle should have a light or even a button. (If you don’t see a button the "yellow" light is the button).
* Press the USB dongle button....this will tell the dongle to start looking for a Keyboard or mouse.
* On the underside of the mouse (and keyboard) should be a a small button.
* Press the button(s) for ~5 seconds, then release.. this tells teh keyboard (or mouse) to look for a dongle.

This should show a connection between the dongle and the keyboard (or mouse).

Or
With the PC Off:
* Just connect the dongle
* Do the button sequence as described above, unit the dongle light goes “solid” again.
* Start the PC and keyboard and mouse should work perfectly.

Cheers,
Ed

Keyboard doest work

Normal 0 Assuming that you have good batteries installed, turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard.
Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps. Bud
