How to teather computer to samsung smart phone droid

You need to be more specific! Was your computer only connected to the internet threw your old phone? If so you need to set up the new phone and your computer to have the same matching connection information and passwords. It sounds like you may not know you need to configure your phone to allow a tether your computer to it and you also need to set your computer to the same information and configuration you set your new phone to.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L500 with Win7 and cannot connect to the internet via high speed modem LAN cable. Internet works on my other computer using the same LAN connection, but it is running XP. I

So is your Modem from a phone company like AT&T? It sounds like it is because phone companies use what is called PPOE which is where the modem is configured with a userid and password to get out to the internet.

Cable providers use DHCP and don't require a userid and password.

If your other computer works using the network cable but your toshiba won't work using the same network cable, I think the phone company has configured your modem to only look at and accept your other computer. You can tell the modem to use specific MAC addresses which are unique to every device that attaches to the internet. You want your modem set up to use a range of addresses, not a specific one.

I want to change my nokia 2690's internet connection

Good day. Erase the configuration settings and Reinstall the new configuration settings, then try to run the newly install setting for testing purposes.Seek a strong signal from your network provider to get fast connection. Or call your network provider operator then ask for configuration settings for your phone unit, I'm sure they will send you the configuration settings for free thru text message. Save as default to your phone then try to run. Thanks

How do I connect my nokia 5530 xpress music to the Internet?

you need to check two things on your phone and on your account. The gprs/internet mobile is dependent on your account and on your phone's settings. First, check with your service provider if the gprs/internet is provided and active on your account. Second, check your phone first if you already have the settings on your phone (it has to be the settings of your service provider/ if there are other settings that are not your provider's settings, delete it first), if you don't have the correct settings yet, call your service provider for them to send you the settings. Or you can access your provider's website, as most provider's websites have an option to manually configure your phone (by following the steps they provide) or another is an option to send the settings on your phone by providing your handyphone number/mobile number. Once you receive the settings, save it on your phone and try to connect to the internet.

Can't connect to internet due to no configuration settings available from Globe network. Present location - Philippines. Fon was from USA, just unlocked it here in the Philippines.

Your Motorola CLIQ MB 200 has an Android OS. Here's how to configure the internet on your phone:
Go to 'Menu'. Choose 'Settings'. Choose Wireless & networks Select Mobile networks. Go to Access Point Names. Press the Menu button. Tap New APN.
Supply the following settings for Globe Telecom:
Name: GLOBE (or anything you want) APN: http.globe.com.ph LEAVE THE REST OF THE FIELDS AS-IS
I hope this would solve your internet connection problem.
