If your computer is running super slow due to mmp.exe messages and taking up almost all of your system resources, your system fails to launching application (in your case is fanta tunes), or when you start your pc/laptops, you get the mmp.exe error message, or your system experiencing system crash, blue screen of death all of sudden, your system is currently suffering with a serious a rogue anti-spyware program and some cases it is reported as virus. There are many spyware, virus removal on the web to help you to remove it. But if your system currently have anti-virus software and anti-spyware program, you might be able to remove it. mmp.exe is usually found in c:\windows\systems32 folder. You are advised to delete this file, scan your computer with an anti-virus software to make sure it is removed entirely. And also, ff you have anti-spyware program (if not you can download from malwarebytes.org/anit-malware for free), use this program to scan your system entirely to remove mmp.exe. Removing virus and anti-spyware are not easy and can be time consuming. If your system suffer a severe damage, you might out of luck. Your system might need to be wiped out and reinstall. If you have recovery disc, you might need to use this to restore your system. Good luck to you Let me know if I can further help. Thank you

How to avoid losing your work in case a program stops responding

Sometimes, while doing some specific work on your PC or browsing the internet, the program you're using suddenly stops responding without any apparent reason. If you hadn't been saving your work regularly, you'll most likely lose it when Windows prompts you to close the program.

There's however a solution that could help you avoid such frustration. Here are the steps to follow in case a program stops responding :

1. Once you encounter such a problem, don't close the program you're using.

2. Open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

3. In the "Processes" tab, find "explorer.exe", choose it and click "End Process" on the bottom right.

4. Click "Yes" (Everything you see in the background will disappear but don't panic, it will come back).

5. Click "File" on the top left.

4. Choose "New Task (Run...)"

5. Write "explorer.exe" in the box.

And everything comes back! You can now resume your work...

Once I get to my facebook home page, I keep getting the message that Internet Explorer has stopped working. I then get kicked off the site.

Have you uninstalled Norton Internet Security from Programs and features if so it did not uninstall all the way.

here is the link to get the removal tool to delete Norton completely.
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

Also you can try going to tools internet options goto the advanced tab and down next to the bottom by OK and cancel buttons there is a reset button to rest internet explorer to default settings.
click reset and once it is done click OK then close internet explorer and reopen it and try it.
If not goto tools and check MENU BAR then click on HELP then about internet explorer to find out which version if it is explorer 8 goto PROGRAMS AND FEATURES in the control panel then in the left colummn goto VIEW INSTALLED UPDATES then in the SEARCH BOX TYPE IN INTERNET EXPLORER when it shows the update for internet explorer 8 right click on it and uninstall it.
8 has been known to cause that issue.

Keep getting message "Internet Explorer has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" Have waited...

If you are using IE 7/8 you can try to run the program without loading any add-ons to see if one of them is causing the problems. To do this, click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

(You can also load IE without add-ons by clicking START --> RUN and then typing iexplore.exe -extoff)

If those don't work try to re-register IEPROXY.DLL by clicking START --> RUN and typing regsvr32 IEPROXY.DLL and then clicking OK.

When IE dissapears does IExlorer.exe show in the task manager's list of running processes?

Have any toolbars or new sofware been added recently? If so and you are using Win XP you may want to try a system restore to a previous point before the changes were made or uninstall the toolbars completely. Also disabled all Pop-Up blockers to see if that has any effect.clean up ur registry using reginout

"Internet Explorer has has stopped working..."

After installing IE8 on vista I kept getting msg Internet Explorer has stopped working - continually looping thru this message.

Solution for me was.
End IE with task manager - needed to do a couple of times.
Then from control panel -> programs -> manage addons I disabled all add ons and then IE started OK. Then by process of elimination stated enabling add on until failed again.

In my case it was the skype addon that was causing IE to fail. Leaving it disabled has allowed IE8 to function.

Desktop Manager stops before completing synchronization

Usually this has to do with a large attachment, reoccurring appt., or corrupted date record in Calendar. Do a search for a file on your computer called scanpst.exe. Run it and point it to your Outlook.ost file location. Be sure Outlook and Desktop Manager are closed. It will diagnose and correct any errors with your Outlook Mailbox, and hopefully correct this issue. When you search for the files, be sure to look in hidden files as well.
