You may have a regulator issue, or the window channels need lube, first lube the channels with spray silicone, spray directly into the channel, if it still doesn't cure the issue you will have to replace the window regulator.

Diagram to fix driver side window slid down. after take the door cover off, I find a cable not hooked to anything, but the motor does run

The cable snapped and you have to get a new or used window regulator. Common problem but no way to repair it.

Driver's side power window won't work in '96 honda accord. stuck in the down position.

Its most likely a faulty power window motor. They all have individual circuit breakers inside the motor or switch, they aren't on a fuse. They quite often fail in either full up or full down positions, but can stop anywhere. Remove the door panel and locate the 2 wire connector coming from the motor. If you have a test light jumper across both wires (on the vehicle side of connector), while using the switch. It should light up in both directions (bi-directional motor). If the test light only lights in one direction or neither, it is most likely a bad window switch. To verify, jumper 12Volts to one side of the window motor connection and ground the other. The window should move in one direction, revrse the 2 wires the window moves in opposite direction then the motor is good.

Replace the driver side window motor

scroll through these questions for a while and find the questions from folks who have their door ripped apart and can not get it back together.
then go get yourself a new window regulator from ebay or a local parts store and pay a guy at an auto glass shop to put it in for you.

How do i fix my 1996 honda accord driver side window? When i roll down the window it falls off the track! they are manual, not power. How do I fix?

If you take the door panel off which there is only 2 to 4 screws holding in on and some clips in the back. pull the window to the top of the door and tape in place pull the track up and line track up with the window fully up and make sure to tighten track bolts on both the window and door bolts. hope that helps

1996 honda Accord drivers window stuck down

If you here a click when you push the switch up or down, then it could be your window regulator (motor). To change remove door panel, there should be 3 bolts holding regulator to door frame and 2 bolts connecting regulator arm to window.

97 Accord drivers side window won't go up or down....

Window motors & regulators go bad every day. Pull your door panel, unplug the motor, if you have an ohm meter apply the leads to the leads into the motor. One will be ground the other two will raise and lower (reverse) the motor. If you show resistance between the leads the motor windings are good and the problem may be the window regulator. If you do not have an ohm meter, you can run two wires (one ground, the other hot) and test the motor by applying elec to it.

Honda Accord LX 1996 Drivers Window Will Not Go Up

If you take the door panel off, you can unplug the window motor connector and apply power to the motor and run it up if the motor still works. Sometimes they do because it's a switch problem. At the very least, you can confirm the problem this way.
