Question about Celestron CPC 925 XLT (555 x 235mm) Telescope
There is really nothing to be concerned about. The biggest enemy of electronic device is moisture. As far as failure, electronic device have the highest failure rate when brand new. I know this sound crazy but it is true. Since a lot of failure in electronic circuits is due to poor design, and manufacturing. Electronic components are very hardy things, and can withstand even temperatures that would kill a living thing. One last thing to mention on electronic is dust that has accumulated can ruin electronic circuits on high current sections that require fan to cool it down due to poor ventilation. Mechanical things such as gears and what have you should be ok. Mechanical things have the highest failure rate as time goes by (wear and tear). Since you store it in a climate controlled room the lubrication on the gears should still be ok.
