SOURCE: My Honeywell programmable thermostat reads

I think you need to charge freon gas to your a/c unit. Air should be coming out cold from your a/c unit once the compressor starts running. Always check if the compressor runs when you start the unit.

SOURCE: I have a Honeywell CT2800 Thermostat and a message

it's just running your "return home" program, so it says "return". the FR above it is just meaning "Friday". They line up in a way that makes it look like the two words are together but they aren't, the week line is just right above the program line.

SOURCE: Thermostat is reading FR Return what does this

My new blanket works great. Then I changed my sheets and would get the F2 problem. Very consistent after 5 tries with F2 blinking by unplugging at wall outlet and comes on with F2 blinking. Let it rest a night and still the same.

Then I unplug it at the blanket. Hmm, notice a pin was lower than the others. PUSH BACK IN FIRM and tried again. Perfect.

Honeywell TH8110U1003, No heat reading, only two dashed lines, please help asap!

Sounds like the tstat communicates with a wireless remote sensor on the heating unit. The dashes usually mean there is something blocking/interupting the signal. Maybe another wireless device signal crosses its path.

I have a honeywell programable thremostat, flashing "hold" at 63 degrees in the heat mode. What does this mean?

it means that you are in the hold mode. push run program and it will do the program. hold is used when you want to over ride the program, uplate, weekend, leaving town for a week. you can place it at say 63 or 75 what ever you want and then return to the program.

What does FR Return mean when thermostat says this?

it means that it is friday and your "return home" program is running. there isn't actually a "FR Return" alert, it just lines up that way because the day of the week line sits directly above the program line.

How do I get my honeywell system up and going?

for now, put switches on thermostat to hear and press the up arrow button to the desired temp. All your programed temps will take more explaining and it would be best you secure a owners instruction book from home depot. oif anything, buy thr same thermostat and either keep it or return it . I'd keep it regardless, read the pmphlet, program you heat and a/c before returning for refund. Don't destroy packaging and give them back everything. You will also need two AAbatteries. Good luck.
