Either your water tank in the fridge froze up, the waterline that goes up the freezer door from the bottom hinge froze, or the switch that your glass hits is damaged. Do you hear any humming or noises when you put your glass up to get water?

check the water valve on the back of the ref. it sends water to the ice maker and water in the door one can work and the other one not

this is not a solution, but an explanation- our repair man said that there is a line (tube) containing electric wires that passes from the frig to the door at the bottom of the door, near the hinge. for what ever reason, the line has broken, thus keeping the electric from getting to the motor that dispense ice and water- solution= $700 for a new door; we'll do without

Lets discuss about the problem.
fridge/freezer has stopped dispensing water and ice.
1)For every 6 moths or 1 year you have to replace the filter. The decreased or stopped flow is caused due to filter problem. It will be like this.
It will be located at the back side at the bottom.
2)Check the valve see the below picture how ice dispense parts interconnected. The
pat no 15 the valve which will be blocked by ice or dust you have to remove it.Can you see the valve 22 will connected down of water tub.SO check the valve is not frozen.
Simple if the valve decreased flow or stopped means there is some block.May be due
to dust or frozen ice.
Simple solution:Switch off your system for 24 hours or more so all the frost will melt and the refrigerator will start working as normal. The blockage of the ice will be cleared.
