Question about Dell Inspiron E1405 Notebook
You need to reset it. There is no work around. Locate the little battery
take it out for 2 days by pulling the tiny connector from the board. Remember where red wire is and write that down ( +)
short the two pins where the battery holder is on
put the battery back
that resets the pass
if you feel unsecure to do it yourself visit a local PC shop
