There normally is a check box to enable/disable the popup within the window. It should state something along the lines of "Enable this check every time you start Internet Explorer".

Best of luck

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Google is gone

Ask.com is a pain. You need to go to your browser settings>preferences and set google as the default search engine again. Also check under your list of installed programs (under control panel) for anything with the word "Ask" and get rid of it!

Get rid of ask search

You haven't specified the browser you are using. (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

Normally you have to go into settings and you can edit the default homepage. (Sometimes under 'Start-Up' settings)

How do I remove imesh as default browser - I supidly installed the program and uninstalled it but can't get rid of it as the browser

I highly recommend running a couple of free anti spyware programs. Malwarebytes Anti-malware, and SuperAntiSpyware. Don't run both at the same time. Run one, remove whatever if finds, reboot, then run the next. Hope this helps.

How di I change my browser from Goggle Chrome to Windows Internet Explorer

Click on windows internet explorer. A box should come up asking you if you want internet explorer to be your default browser. Click on that selection, this will make internet explorer open each time an internet browser is called for.

You can also go to tools, select internet options, then the programs tab. There is a button that makes internet explorer you default browser.

Either of these solutions should work for you. Please remember to leave positive feedback if you found these solutions helpful.

Thank You,

Brian

What is a default browser? when i open hotmail it says hotmail default.

The default browser is the program that Windows uses by default when you open web pages or websites. If you've never changed it before than Internet Explorer is your default, so whenever you click on an internet link (from an email, in a Word document, in a PDF, etc...) than Internet Explorer opens that page. If you install another browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera....) then it may ask if you if you want to set it as default when you install it. Why Hotmail is asking/talking about a default I'm not certain. If you have the desire to use a browser other than internet explorer than you should set it as your default. The procedure for that will var depending on your operating system.
