Look around the inside or the out side edges you will find Phillips screws you need to
remove them now the inner and outer skins will separate and you can tighten the handle
from the in side once you tighten the handle up you can put the door back together

i hope this helps you

How to tighten loose handle

Remove the door gasket, that should give you access to removing door plate. Door handle may need to be replaced.

Loose microwave handle

The handle screws are installed from inside the door, so it would be necessary to disassemble the door to tighten them. You have to decide whether the time and labor involved are worth it.

I have a loose door handle, how do i fix it? Do i have to take the door off?

Hi You will have to open the oven door and take the screws out of the side that faces inwards to the oven. Once the screws are removed the door will come apart. And then you can tighten the screws to secure the handle better. Also before you do that look under the handle and make sure there are not any set screws in it that tightens down to an anchor. They usually will be hex or allen screws .

can the inside skin of the door be removed by unscrewing screws? If so, this should access the screws for the handle...be sure to replace any insulation properly.

I have a kitchenaid electric range and the oven door handle is loose. Can I remove the door and open it and tighten the handle?

My son came and pulled the door straight out not up and we were able to take it off and take it apart and tighten the handle and clean the inner glass. It now looks and works like new.
Thank you

Loose Oven door handle

Ok you need to use plastic or rubber washers against the glass so it doesn't break. To stop the handle comming loose again you need to put "Lock Tight" on the screw threads then tighten carefully only untill the handle isn't loose. You can get this from any good hardware store. cheers

Loose Oven door handle

Hi,
You may have to get some loctite brand paste in a tube for applying to the threads of the bolts that hold it on.
This will prevent the screws from loosening.
Another way would be to get some spring washers or star washers at your local hardware store such as menards.
