SOURCE: i want to restore the

You may restore it to its original settings by opening the configuration menu. Usually, this can be accessed by booting your computer while pressing F2 or delete, depending on your computer's model. It will bring you to the configurations menu. Look for the "restore to default setting", highlight using your arrow keys and press Enter, press Esc and go to the exit menu using the tab or arrow key, select save settings and exit. Reboot your computer.

SOURCE: foxconn mb g33mo2 how big will this board support cpu have 2.6 d

You can go up to, as long as the bios is updated, to the Wolfdale 45nm Dual Core chips by intel. Those boards will not support a quad core processor as they do not have the correct VRM to support it. So pretty much as far up as you can go with the Core 2 Duo line.

What is the best upgrade cpu for a compaq presario sr5110nx 32 bit vista O.S... ATHLON 64 (single core) without having to go to 64 bit, and/or new drivers ?

The 400W PSU is going to limit your CPU selection to dual-core at best, although you might be able to get away with a higher-end dual-core CPU if your RAM is not ECC and not dual-channel, and you're not running anything serious in terms of a graphics or sound card or a SCSI array.

Given your current setup I'd really look for a 1.6Ghz dual-core Athlon which has a decent amount of KB in its Level 1 and Level 2 cache, but 3MB for its Level 3 cache.

Anything beyond that ballpark of a CPU upgrade is certainly well within the bounds of diminishing returns, and you should look at getting a new PSU, motherboard, and probably RAM (I'm guessing you're using DDR2 RAM currently).

Have an " Amilo Li2727 laptop SN model MS222 With USB problems

have you looked inside the Bios or System Setup to make sure the USB is enabled?

Have you tried using a device that used to work in the usb port? Maybe you are trying some new device that it can't recognize such as a 1TB external hard drive.

Cpu upgrade options on acer aspire 3660

You can upgrade your machine at your own risk but be certain to use a clean workspace, proper dis assembly instructions and have a grounded wrist-strap. I would make sure you have the latest bios for your machine and any firmware updates applied as well for the other devices in your machine.

Check out this thread as some have put a Dual-Core cpu in this machine.

This guy seems to think that the Acer Aspire 3660 is a POS, LOL.

I wish to upgarde to the fasted CPU possible for my motherboard

More importantly RAM will give you better performance, if your computer is low on ram it doesn't matter much what the cpu is.

you can put up to 4GB of ram into it
4 x 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMM socket support up to 4 GB
Support DDR400/333/266 unbuffered DDR SDRAM

here is a list of supported CPU's
http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Support/CPU_Support_Model.aspx?detailid=493&MenuID=69&LanID=0

I think any of the dual cores on that page will be a OK upgrade.

So if you upgrade your ram to 2GB and a Dual core 4800+ that should be good. but in the long run it might be smarter to upgrade to a new motherboard and even faster cpu, with DDR 2 memory, the memory ddr2 is really cheap these days.

Your computer has one of these options:
spacer.gif level2_arrow.gif Intel® Celeron® Processor 560
(1MB L2 cache, 2.13GHz, 533MHz FSB)
or
Intel® Celeron® Processor 550
(1MB L2 cache, 2.0GHz, 533MHz FSB)
or
Intel® Celeron® Processor 540
(1MB L2 cache, 1.86GHz, 533MHz FS
or
Intel® Celeron® Dual-Core Processor E1400
(512KB shared L2 Cache, 2.0GHz, 800MHz FSB)
or
Intel® Celeron® Dual-Core Processor T1400
(512KB shared L2 Cache, 1.73GHz, 533MHz FSB) spacer.gif

Check the features with Acer first and see if your motherboard model support that speed processor.

Cpu upgrade for zv6000

Most of the newer processors use a different socket.

The Socket 939 chips go up to an Athlon 64 X2 4400+.

However: keep in mind that your computer's bios may not be setup to use newer CPU's. The only way to tell is to check compaq's web site for updates or just to buy a CPU and try it.

Good luck!
