I'll give you info on how to change batteries in two different type mouse units. Not sure what type you have.

The normal way to change batteries on a mouse is to turn it over and open the little door on the bottom The compartment holds 2 AA batteries.

Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this.
Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.

Hope this helps. Bud

Windows 7 Laptop Battery not charging b> Careful management of battery charging and power consumption settings on your laptop computer is essential if you spend a lot of time away from home or the office. To stop your Microsoft Windows 7 laptop from running out of juice at a critical moment, you can change the battery and power settings for the device. Select the battery meter icon from the desktop toolbar to change the laptop's power plan.
Click the battery meter icon in the notification area on the right-hand side of the computer's desktop taskbar. This launches the battery and power plan options dialog box. This shows the remaining charge in the laptop battery, and indicates if the battery is currently plugged into a power supply and charging. Click the check-box beside the power plan option that best matches your current activities. Select "High Performance" if the laptop is connected to an external power supply and the battery is charging. Choose "Balanced" if you don't need to save power and you want Windows 7 to optimize the laptop's power settings. Thanks for contacting FixYa.
Instructions generally dont tell you how to change batteries.
I would highly recommend you take to a watchmaker/ jeweler to have this done with the right equipment.

The second hand jumps forward every 5 seconds but the watch still keeps time OK.

You need to replace battery.
Q/A from swiss army website.
Q. How do I know when the battery needs changing?
A. In select models, the battery end-of-life indicator signals that the battery should be replaced within two or three days. When the battery is low, the second hand stands still for 2-4 seconds, and then speeds up to the correct time. This indication will last for approximately one week, and then the timepiece hands stand still.

What is the button and set of 5 lights on a dell c610 battery for

The LEDs on the battery indicate the charge remaining. Press the button and you should get 5 LEDs with a full charge. The LEDs stay on in a steady state as long as you hold trhe button

The LEDs can also indicate an internal failure of the battery (Usually 1 3 and 5 will flash) if the LEDs flash, the battery is either critically low or failing. If charging it doesn't change the LED flashing them the battery will need to be replaced
