Question about Logitech 931150 Mouse

1 Answer

Changing the batteries

My battery indicator tells me the battery is critical, I on the other hand do not know how to change the battery, where is the battery compartment. I have misplaced the written instructions that came with the product.
I don't see where to open it.

I'll give you info on how to change batteries in two different type mouse units. Not sure what type you have.

The normal way to change batteries on a mouse is to turn it over and open the little door on the bottom The compartment holds 2 AA batteries.

Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this.
Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.

Hope this helps. Bud

Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 - low battery pop up

I would disregard the pop up as in most cases the batteries are still good. I'd use the mouse till it stopped functioning. Why it does that I haven't figured out yet. I beleive a value has to be changed in the Registry. If I figure it out I will let you know.

Battery critical warning

Check with the manufacture of the mouse (the website) to determine if they have a faq covering it. Your alternative is save the battery and get a different brand of mouse. I am assuming your mouse is wireless by the way. FYI....the problem rate of wireless devices to hard wired devices is probably in the order of 5000 to 1. I use a hard wired mouse and keyboard.
