Question about Cell Phones
Welcome to Fixya. PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Code. This acts as a security feature on your mobile. To protect you in the event of theft, the SIM card is immediately locked if someone keys in three different incorrect PIN codes in succession. This also applies if you absent-mindedly enter an incorrect PIN code three times in a row. The message PIN locked will appear on the screen. In this event, you can fall back on the PUK code, which comprises eight digits.
PUK is not a problem with the cellphone. You need to get intouch with the SIM card Carrier so that they can provide you the code. If you have questions please let me know. Thanks for using Fixya.
