Well maybe the controller one port is either broken or loose and re solder it or the lite gun is broken.

My nes advantage won't work

You could try another port, or try to adjust firing modes etc. in case there is a loose connection. It sounds like a hardware problem to me.

WHY CAN'T I GET MY REMOTE CONTROL WORK ON MY TV?

Do this step by step to minimize your problem:

-Check your remote control's battery if properly charged (swap with known good, same specs)
-Check your remote output visually by using your mobile phone's camera,, point your camera lens to the tip of your remote control where you can find LED..
-Push the buttons 1 by 1 while the camera points the LED it should emit a small amount of light
that can't be seen by ***** eyes.. if its emitting it means that your remote control is good..

this is the basic trouble shooting to check your remote control, hope this helps

When I play duck hunt It says I miss even when I put the gun to the screen

If your playing from an LCD or Plasma widescreen, then your gonna be missing all day. For some reason newer displays will not work with nes shooter games.

If your using it on an older tube tv, chances are that bulb alignment is not set correctly (At the end of the zapper). You would have to purchase a replacement gun.

General Game Pak Troubleshooting (NES and Super NES)

Note: It is possible that the problem you have may be game play related. For example, if you cannot defeat a particular enemy, or are missing an item you need to complete an area, the problem is likely game play related and there is nothing wrong with your game. Please check our game play help for assistance. If the problem you are experiencing is with just one game, please follow the steps below. If the problem is with all games, please visit the troubleshooting section for the system you have, by clicking here.

  1. Check for Unlicensed products. Make sure that you're using only licensed products with your Nintendo system. Unlicensed products are not tested for compatibilty and may not work correctly with all games. Try playing the game without the unlicensed accessory.
  2. Insert the Game Pak into the system. The Game Pak label should be facing the front of the machine (or facing up if you are using an original NES).
  3. Make sure the Game Pak firmly clicks down into place.
  4. Remove all accessories to see if the Game Pak works correctly without the accessory. If the game does work correctly once the accessory is removed, then the game pak and the accessory may not be compatible. Check the game pak instruction manual.
  5. Check the instruction manual for the game to see if it requires any special accessories to operate (such as the Super Scope, NES Zapper, SNES Mouse, etc.).
  6. Do not blow into your Game Paks or systems. The moisture in your breath can corrode and contaminate the pin connectors.
If these steps do not eliminate the symptoms you're experiencing with your game, we recommend purchasing a replacement from a retailer or online auction site that carries older products. For more information, click here

I don't know a lot about this console (the Retron 3), but the game sounds like it works fine, try using a different third-party console, I recommend the Retro Entertainment System, it's only around $20 - $25 on eBay, try a different NES game, if it doesn't work, than it's probably the controllers, get replacements, or the batteries are dead.

I have nintendos duck hunt when i cannot kill the ducks but the gun is shooting bullets how can i fix this

Hi jme0007!

In order to help you let me explain to you how the Nintendo zapper works.
The nintendo zapper works by decetcing the light from your TV screen. When you "shoot" the gun the screen goes completely dark for a franction of a seccond display white squared where the targets are. The light emitted by the squares is picked up by the zapper only if it's pointed directly at it. What may have happened is that your nintendo zapper is not working propperly, to make sure of this try "firing" the gun at a strong source of light like a light bulb. If this doens't trigger the gun to work then youre Zapper is broken and sadly the product has been discontinued and they don't offer tech support for it anymore.
Your best chance of fixing it would be ordering repair kits online or buying a new one.

Hope this helped you.

Nes zapper wont shoot ducks.

I've never tried the lightbulb trick, but I do know that light guns won't work an LCD or plasma screens, as it relies on how CRT screens work. If this describes your problem, you'll have to scrounge up a good 'ol boxy tube TV for your duckhunting needs.
