What do you mean by, you want to remove inkjet? do you mean uninstall? or do you want to change the ink cartridge? some printers has a button that has an ink drop symbol that you need to press and release, some have an ink replacement button.

if you are having problem still get back to me and tell me your printer model and manufacturer. thanks!

How to reset expired hp 02 cartridge

I'm not sure what you mean by "reset" and whether you are speaking of ink jet or laser cartridges. From my experience all HP laser cartridges have a small chip (with a little circuitry) that counts down your pages and when it decides your cartridge is out of toner you cannot "reset" that chip, you can only replace it, so like when you refill the cartridge. Some of the HP laser printers let you override these toner level chips (my HP 1518ni does) but in many laser printers you are stuck when the chip counts down to '0' pages. Some printers will run if you remove the chip from the cartridge but from my experience most will not.
Ink jet cartridges are somewhat similar but I gave up on ink jet printers several years ago. I know for some brands (Epson?) you can buy a small tool that somehow resets the cartridge chip (so if you refill cartridges yourself); possibly there is something similar for HP ink jet cartridges.

The ****** printer has brand new ink... acts like it is printing but the paper comes outblank. What the heck. Is it now garbage???

It sounds like the print head ink jets may be clogged. Has the printer been sitting for some time without being used? Also, if you have been shutting off the power to the printer without first turning it off using the printer's power switch, then stop. When you turn off the power to an ink jet printer using it's built-in power switch, the heads will first park to a home position, and "cap" the heads, preventing the ink from drying out. The downside to Epson inkjet printers is that you replace the ink tanks only. With most other brands, when you replace an ink cartridge, you are also swapping out the print head as well. I have had success in cleaning the Epson printer heads using Windex or other ammonia based cleaners. You will have to remove the print head in order to get access to the ink jets (the part that contacts with the paper to print) Sometimes you can easily remove the metal rod that hold the print head(s) in position to gain enough clearance. Start by saturating a piece of toweling or cloth with Windex, then begin carefully wiping the print head(s) This is a messy job, so keep lots of paper toweling handy. In stubborn situations, I have sprayed Windex into the reservoirs where the ink cartridges normally go, and let them soak overnight. As you likely already know, these ink jet printers are considered "disposable" and if it weren't for the fact that it is 11x17 capable, I would have recommended that you simply scrap it and replace it. I can't say that this method will work for you, but at this point, you likely have nothing to loose. Best of luck!

I don't know how it works for your model, but with some ink jet printers I've been able to remove the ink absorber and wash it out in the bathroom sink. (Let it drip-dry, and clean up the sink immediately to prevent staining.) The next trick is to persuade the printer that the ink absorber is empty - the reset procedure varies by model.

It keeps showing the message "remove and check the right ink cartridge". we already removed and re-install it many times. we also cleaned it and we still show that message. help! thank you!

Try to replace the ink cartridge with a new name brand ink jet cartridge that matches the manufacturer. Sometimes aftermarket ink jet cartridges don't work as well as the name brand ones.

I forgot where to install the ink packs in my machine. Can you let me know thank you.

when you lift the scaner bed you will see the ink packs. When you install new ink packs make sure you remove the plastic strips, covering the ink jets of the new cartridge.

It says used ink jet full. I don't know what that means. All of my color ink jets are full and I can't even make them come forward to check them but I'm sure they are full. What is the used ink jet.

Used ink jet is probably something like the 'waste toner' cartridge in laser printers. Look in the manual for a reservoir that has waste ink somewhere. Hopefully it'snot in the ink jet cartridge.

What year, make, model printer is this for further research?

C6380 - Ink System Failure 0xc19a0023 error message Just want to let everyone know i will never buy another hp printer again, i hve never had so much trouble with a printer, how can a printer only last 8...

as far as ink jets go i agree with you HP are pretty bad. However the HP color laser jets are second to none in my opinion. I work at a health care company and all we sell are HP laser jet printers. Sure the toner cost more money up front but page for page it's actually cheaper than having to buy all those ink jet refills. If you must have an ink jet printer I would try either a epson, cannon or lexmark. HERE is a good link to ink jet printer reviews

Black lines running through certain lines of printed documents

Hi, ok your ink well is clogged (the stuff the ink cartridges fit in) remove all the ink tanks, then remove the inkwell by pulling the lever to the right. In a dish pour some rubbing alcohol and tel the ink jets soak a bit. pour some alcohol over the nossles(where the ink sits to send the ink through) and let it soak a bit more. Use a straw and cover the jets then blow, this will force the bad ink out clear the jets. Blot it dry then replace. blot each inktank before replacing them to insure the ink is running out. A couple of deep ink cleanings and you will be set.

If this fails you may have to replace the ink well and the cartridges (order new ones from canon) But cleaning it should work, try at least 3 times before deciding to buy a new one.

Ink jet

Try removing the ink cartridge and then putting it back. There should be a snapping sound. Then remove the power cable of the back at the printer that is connected to the outlet wall. wait for 30 sec. before plugging it back and another 30 sec before turning it on. If that still won't work, contact kodak 1 800 421 6699. Im sure they will be able to help. ^_^
