When i play online games why is it so slow

You are right when you say it's really slow when you play games online, 1. The Game server is accessing by you through wires and network devices, so this makes the games slow. If the game is installed in your pc, there's should be no speed problem, 2. Network bandwidth will be accumulated by the game when you run the program, so don't take tension,... we are facing the same problem and it's just normal. There's nothing different. Good luck

In counter strike v1.6 online game i cant find servers list and in message it says no online games pass through filter settings

This is typically due to firewall settings on your machine and or router. If you are trying to play online over the internet make sure you have appropriate ports allowed through any firewalls you may have to the computer you are trying to play the game on.

BELLS RED FLAGS ALARMS WHISTLES WARNINGS
a site that requires you shut down protection,
has some intent of using that lack of protection.
usually its something nasty

online gaming should not require more than the opening of the NAT in the router to the address of the game host.
check the settings of the router many have prewritten rules for the major game hosts, that just need to have the checkbox marked.
I have 3 sons with different online gaming and have not had to disable the firewall

using the routers built in menu, cant tell you the address beyound 192.168.0.* because no details on router model, you can enable gaming mode, and leave the firewall intact.
goto the manufacturer(router) webpage and check the FAQ for your router

Cant play online games with my Gateway® M-6864 FX Black w/ Orange Accent. can still get on the internet but cant play online games.

Hi Bob,

If you are having issue playing online games but able to surf the internet, It means that the Firewall is not allowing you to play online games. Normally this is cause by a Firewall protection. As of now, DSL modems has Firewall features and you can manage them if you know so. But if you don't, contact your Internet provider to resolve this issue.

I have a ps3 system that I want to play online games w/. The problem is that I don't have the technology suggested by the ps3 manual for a wired OR wireless connection. Can you tell me howv to connect with...

you need to buy yourself a router so that you can have more than one computer or gaming device connected to the internet at once. Most computer shops sell them. I strongly recomment a gaming router as it sends and receives the data alot quicker. I hope ths helps you out.
