In your DVD player audio setup change the digital output to bitstream. You have not mentioned which DVD player you are using.

Some players it will be given
Digital Out - Off/ On select On
Dolby Digital - Dolby / PCM select Dolby
DTS - On/Off select ON

How do you play cranium family edition

GET READY
1. Set out the game board and the four character card boxes: Creative Cat, Data Head, Star Performer, and Word Worm.
2. Set out the mover pieces, die, timer, Cranium Clay, Cranium Cubes, pencil, and paper.
3. Divide into two teams. Each team chooses a mover piece and places it on start.
4. The team with the player whose birthday is coming up next goes first.

ON YOUR TURN
1. In Cranium Family Edition, you roll the die at the end of your turn, after you successfully complete an activity. The color of the space your mover piece is on matches the color of the Cranium activity card you'll play. At the start of the game, or any time you are on a purple space, your team can choose from any one of the four card boxes.
2. Have the other team draw your card and read it out loud to you, taking care to hide the answer on the back of the card.
3. When you're ready, have the other team start the timer. Your team must try to successfully complete the activity before time runs out.
4. Were you successful?
YES - Roll the die and move the number of spaces you rolled. If you started out on a Lucky Star, you get to move twice the number you rolled! Your turn is now over.
NO - Your turn is now over. Wait until your next turn to try again.

HOW TO WIN
If your team is the first to cross the finish line, CONGRATULATIONS! You've won Cranium Family Edition!

Converting Movies To Play On My Home Dvd Player

Convert video to .avi or DVD (Audio TS- Video VS) format.
Many common dvd players can play .avi files
(.avi files are very compact).
All dvd players play TS/VS format.
AVS4U is a reasonably priced (approx $50)downloadable suite of programs that can perform all the conversion tasks you need for audio & video.

The amplifier does not recognize the dolby digital format, I have replaced the DVD player without any result. there is some setting that I need to change? thanks

Be sure you are using the DIGITAL connection to the "amplifier" or "Receiver"? This is the OPTICAL connection or the ORANGE colored coaxial connector, they will be labled digital. Be sure also on the DVD player DOLBY DIGITAL AUDIO is ENABLED. Not on the DVD software startup menu, but the DVD PLAYER unit itself. This can be found in the setup menu under AUDIO OPTIONS. If you have the DVD players manual read section Audio selections.
