Convegence board where is it located in the back of the set ...i have been done wrong by samsung and the reccomended service company ...so i am going to order it and try and fix it myself ...i just need to know which board it is ...any help would be greatly appreciated ......tanx so much ....

    is that the convergence board?? i have already bought a convergence board from another online store for alot cheaper ??? that is what the 1st tech to look at the set said i needed ...it powers on ..but no picture ...it started as powering on with no picture ...then it would start to warm up and the pictyre would be small then it would come in ...and it progressed to no picture at all ....everything else seemed to work besides that ..??? so what part do you think i need ??? he said the part i needed was going to cost 168.00 and then 90 to install ..i figured the 90 dollar price i paid for the convergence board off this other site was prob the right part considering the parts mark up by the tech ??? so can you help me out of this situation .??lol i mean i live in alabama and the run around i have gotten about this problem is crazy ..he came and diagnosed it then had his parts account with samsung closed ..cause he went to work with another company ...then the second ones they refered me to gave me the run around about sceduling the appointment ...like i said crazy ...i am an hvac service tech so i know electrical components i think i can fix it ..if i have the right part and know where to put it ....hahaha i was full well willing to pay the man his 250 some odd bucks to just get it fixed but here i am .....PLEASE HELP ME ....LOL

Please help ! have a 55 inch samsung model hcm5525w it wont turn on the timer light comes on and blinks 9 times any idea.their are 3 boards in the back 1 would have to be bad right?anyone know which one when behind the tv left to right.

Your model has the Ics and resistors on the sub delection PCB board. You can get a new replacement board at the following link with free tech support to help you install it as it the entire large circuit board on the right side of the set. You need the board called the P54A chassis Sub deflection board under their Samsung parts category.

    was the convergence board fairly small about 6x6 inches? As your model has the ICs and convergence out put circuitry on the large bottom board on the right side. Sounds like you bought the convergence module for the digital control. Doesnt your chassis look like this on the right side

Ur tv convergence board that was replaced for ur tv.The 2 STK convergence ICS was old it is not new it is those 2 STK convergence ICS on the tv convegence board is dead again and some of the resistors on the board maybe shorted and dies also must replaced too.The tv convegence board was put on ur tv those parts on the convergence board are old components parts,ur must repair tv convergence board again to fixed this problems called convergence pictures problems.

TV rca hd 52w59 has convex picture. can I fix it.
If convergence adjustment did not correct the problem likely the convergence IC's have failed and will need to be replaced along with a few defective resistors in that circuit. If you have never attempted TV repair this would not be a good repair to start on.

The only way to be positive of the problem is to have the circuitry diagnosed by someone with the proper TV test EQUIPMENT to determine what parts that are no longer within specs.

Will not turn on
check the convergance board for open pico fuses located near the stk amps if they are open the you may have a yolk problem as well. also check the blue gum for cloudy fluid this may be the reason the perfect focus got stuck. if you should get the tv to fire up go to the menu then select reset factory in the convergance menu of the customer menu. this will pull the convegance back to tollorance. the trouble is that when the convegance amps fail customers tend to perfect focus the set and each time they do the convegance memory goes further from tollorance. thus failing the ICs once again. check the pico fuses 1st this is a tell tail sign of those two conditions (yolk, or out of tollorance).

No Picture But Sound
I have a HNL5065W samsung that i just repair if it was the lamp you would not get sound,When Lamp goes out set will not come on only Flashing front lights, how long does yours play before cutting OFF? There is a couple of capacitors that will go bad on power board,CK to see if any of the capacitors are puffed up on top if so thats your problem.,But remember Ballast starts up LAMP CK the big capacitor on ballast board and small ones ,also Keep in mind it could be Ballast,if set keeps playing with sound and no picture another thing make sure nothing has come unpluged on DMD board, this board also will keep lamp from firing.OK heres another thing IF COLOR WHEEL is not spinning correctly lamp will not fire up, if it spins to slow or too fast most samsungs start out with Bad Color Wheel.I Buy on E-Bay got My lamp for 85.00 Ballast board 55.00 Ballast board at other companys 117.00 plus shipping! Color Wheel was 65.00.

Dishwasher will not start up.
Hello, I solved this problem. I opened the front of the dishwasher (top) and replaced the thermal fuse and then looked at the mother board. The service company had placed two wires back onto the mother-board and were placed in the wrong slot. I moved the wires back to the right location and the dishwasher has since washed to loads without any problems. The service company has been fired.

Convergence problem
convergence problems occur alot in these sets. First question you always ask is the picture bowed in at top and bottom. or even on sides. go into customer menu and go to setup. do you have convegence option. if you do not go read fl231 problem in tips and tricks. this could be simple and inexpensive. However it can also be one of three cuicit boards. Next quesiton if you got convegence option does the autoconvergence work. if not how far does it get. then if that doesnt work does manual convergence of blue and red work do the cross hair move at all. if the do or only move one way. it might be convegence amp if not then might be convergence power board.

maybe your phone lost some settings. usually phone companies have on there site an automated setting sender(I don't know the proper name for it), usually it's located at customer support, where you chose let's say MMS service and you punch in your phone# and sends the settings to your phone, which you have to save it in to your phone. then it should work.
It would help if you would mention the country and company.

15months-2600.00 later-Samsung @!%!!%!%
This is the same for ALL of the consumer products out there. The turnaround of the technology is very fast! With an extended warranty they would have been forced to give you a new set at no cost, or by the contract agreement if there is a pro-rated cost.

The lower cost sets are even a greater problem for this type of thing!
