Question about Computers & Internet
How do you know something is taking up space on your hard drive? What is your operating system? First thing you should do is check your waste basket. Is it full? Then check your cookies and temporary internet files. Delete all you do not need. Then if you go to your Windows Explorer, you can check the size of each file on you hard drive. Go to Local Disk C:. Open all folders by clicking on each + sign to the left of each folder. Then start at the top and work your way down checking each folder. You should see a folder that has a lot of files in it, or one large file, maybe a folder you do not recognize. Click on and delete the folder that is taking up to much space. If you delete any folders do not empty you waste basket until you are sure you did not delete anything you will need.
