Norelco no longer has authorized warranty repair centers. I suggest calling Norelco customer service at 1-800-243-3050 for assistance

Yes, the RQ12 type heads will work on Arcitec model 1060X. However, your original cap will not fir the RQ12 heads. If you have a cleaning machine, using the RQ12 heads will make it incompatible with the cleaning machine also

My razor will only charge to 56 minutes compared to 60 minutes when I purchased 4 months ago.

I have a Arcitec 1090X and experienced the same thing. What I did is; after the display indicated that charging is needed, I removed the head (just pull it straight up and off) to avoid unnecessary wear and then turned it on and let it run completely down to the point that it's slowing down noticably, then turn it off, allow it to cool down for half an hour or so and then charge it. Leave it on the charger until the display stops moving, it should read at least 72 mins. if not, run it for 10-15 secs. and back on the charger 'til done. Works for me, I hope it does the trick for you!

I need directions on changing the head on the Arcitec razor head

Changing the head on Arcitec models is very easy. It doesn't come apart like older models. For the Arcitec model you simply pull off the entire head assembly and snap on a complete new assembly. See diagram at the link below
