On numerous occasions, the lid switch becomes damaged and needs to be replaced. usuaally this is the problem if your clothes are being washed as usual, and then when it comes to the spin cycle, a safety feature engages and prevents the spin at the door switch

Sounds like the belt between the motor and the tub is slipping or the tensioner spring may have failed.

Neptune MLG2000A doesn't drain completely and has moldy smell

You need to clean the stationary "brush" that collects lint and debris from the water during the cycle. The brush can be seen around the tub directly touching it along the bottom/front of the device. Right were I pour my detergent in, after the cloths are in there. To remove the debris I use a bottle brush. You can expect to use trial and error for your attempts. As far as the water being left.... My device has always left water in the bowl. I periodically just run a cycle with no cloths and bleach...HOT.....Mine is not spinning at the moment...again....I think its another call to the local dealer....AGAIN....

Was washing a load of sheets when it quite and there was a burnt smell in the air. was able to remove all the sheets. then manually removed water, by spinning the basin.

If you inadvertantly try to wash a large load with the water set to small the motor will be overloaded causing it to smell hot and kick out.
If this was your problem it will most likely work again when the motor resets.
Good luck

No water goes into the machine, if i put it on spin it goes into the spin cycle But the water just won"t go into the machine

This could be a real simple fix. 1) Disconnect from power. 2) Take off the front panel by removing two screws near the base. 3) On the left side halfway up is a fuse that may be blown. Replace the fuse.

This worked for me when I had the exact same symptoms. Good luck.

Gunk in middle of agitator

the fabric softener spins out of the cup after the wash cycle when spinning the water out of clothes, then the washer fills back up for the rinse w/ your softener having been dispensed. is there a nut at the bottom of your agitator where you see the gunk? If so you can take the agitator out by removing the nut but be careful of the little parts that make the agitator agitate. Do not disturb these little parts if you don't know about them. Does the gunk smell like grease or a mechanics garage? If so chances are it is a lubricant and should not be removed replace the cap and your softener cup and continue enjoying your machine.

DOES NOT DRAIN WATER

If motor runs or sounds like it is trying to run, you have a sock caught in the pump. If no noise at all you have a bad lid switch
