No sound at all was working but all of a suden it just stop working it is not pop or any think i dont no wats wrong with it

For starters, switch the sub to the other channel. This will tell you if it's the amp or the sub. Check the tensil leads that come from the positive and negative posts to see if they are disconnected. Does the cone have motion? If the cone is stuck in one position, it's blown. Check these things and repost, hope it helps

How do u disassemble the jl 12w7, the cone is stuck

if the cone is stuck, it is possible because the voice coil over-heated. There is really no way to disassemble the speaker without re-coning it. The thing you can do is manipulate the cone with your fingers gently, and it might release. Be careful. hope this helps.

Had the subwoofer tested at an audio shop but they wanted to sell me a woofer. It makes no sound at all. A power issue? there was no problems with the 300 watt Kicker amp.

if the speaker cone moves it should produce some sound if it doesn't move when power is applied then the voice coil is frozen.

not really a power issue unless its a "powered sub" and if that's the case then you should not be running in high level sound using speaker wire (especially off a 300 w amp) but instead a low level signal via RCA cable.

ive had that happen to me with 2 12in infinity subs . (my first system) haha  i dont knwo what it is but it sounds like a piece of solder weld has broken off in there where the voice coils conect to the cone..  its a manufacture defect  nothin you can really do about it without taking it totally apart ... then the hard part is putn it back together .. specially if it wasnt suposed to ba taken apart lol
