Our Bosch dishwasher always has condensation after completing the cycle. Is there a reason for this?

I have noticed the same with our bosch dishwasher. Once the unit finishes washing, it sits there silently for about 1/2 hour and then exhausts the hot/moist air through the drain pump and illuminates the "clean" light. With the tub still hot, I open the door and prop it open a few inches with the top rack for a few hours. Since the tub is still very hot but open to the much cooler air, a lot of that condensation will leave the clean dishes. A few hours or even overnight should do the trick! It isn't a perfect system but beats having that coil heater in the bottom to warp all of your plasticware.

My whirlpool gold series dishwasher will not stop running through cycles unless i open the door. It will just continue to run for hours. Any relatively easy fixes before i call backup?

Some dishwashers can run for 4 hours or more normally depending on the options you choose. What do you mean by it runs through cycles is it always changing cycles by itself or is it just the cycle you pick just keeps on going, have you tried a quick wash or 1 hour wash does it do it then? is you hot water hot enough? if not it makes the unit run longer because it has to heat the water up. always run the hot water at the sink to bring hot water up from the water heater to the sing so the dishwasher fills with hot water and not cold.

Normal wash cycle is over 2 hours?

Hello there
If your dishwasher's cycle times are too long, check these: Water pre-heating Cycle not completing Water pre-heating Your dishwasher may pre-heat the water. If so, and if the water entering the dishwasher is cool, the heater may take up to half an hour to heat the water. To avoid the wait, increase the incoming water temperature before turning on the dishwasher. Do that by running the kitchen sink faucet until the water runs hot. Or increase the temperature of the hot water to the entire house at the hot water heater. Warning! To lessen the risk of scalding, don't set the hot water heater temperature higher than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Takes two and a half hours to run a load of dishes

They probably aren't running the hot water at the sink before starting the dishwasher. You know how it takes time to get hot water at the tap when you turn it on? well the new dishwashers use such little water, that they will fill with cold/warm water, and try to heat it up to 170+ degrees before continuing the cycle

Dishwasher runs for 3 hours

Are you using the high wash temp setting? I was having the same problem with my dishwasher while using that setting. Apparently, it will run until the temp gets to its required number. And my hot water heater was set to not go that far. So my dishwasher would run and run. I fixed it by not using that setting any more.
