This kind of symptoms is commonly caused of the following :

    1. Low voltage power supply gone to out-of-regulation condition. The supply voltage is not stable which sensed by the processor and trigger the symptoms. Leaky/dried filter electrolytic capacitor in the power supply section will dropped the normal voltage. Leaky capacitor has a physical indication of fault like bulged/dome at the top and can easily be identify. Dried capacitor has no physical indication of fault, you must have a capacitor checker to determine its condition.

    2. Bad solder joints (cracked/dried/cold solder) in the power supply section, microcontroller circuitry, and horizontal deflection circuitry will do the same symtoms. You must work in the brightest area or you may used table/portable lamp and magnifying glass because this is hard to spot.

    3. Faulty microcontroller circuitry. This may caused by leaky/dried electrolytic capacitor and/or bad solder joints in its circuitry.

    4. Horizontal deflection malfunction - This section is quite technical because lots of parts are going to check aside from working in the flyback circuitry. High voltage output of the flyback will trigger the x-ray protection circuit to enable.

I would advice you to look for a qualified technician to troubleshoot the unit or send it in.

Also, check if your unit is still under warranty/extended warranty, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Don't attempt to open the back cover because it will void the warranty.

    Hope I helped you.

    Have a nice day!

    Thanks for using Fixya.

The camera saids stanby why is thid ?

Standby means it is ready when you want to use. When you select the camera and don't push the button for some time it goes to Standby. Lot of appliances do that.

Turn off tv power

First your tv will always go into "Standby" when it receives a "Power off" signal. Made that way. Second, It is never a good thing to have your tv power plugged into a "Switched" outlet on a Cable ot Sat box or some other Component. The tv should be always be plugged into the wall outlet or through a very good surge protector.
