I am going to just have a few guesses at your problem as "nosound" doesnt really clarify it enough =]

If your onboard sound isnt working, You could try looking for an audio driver for this particular motherboard. Google "Intel D865GRH Onboard Sound Driver"

If you are using audio ports in a computer Case, make sure they are connected correctly to the motherboard, or use the audio ports on the back of the board.

Onboard sound does break on some of these older boards, Try using an external soundcard. (PCI or AGP) or a USB one. I picked a 7.1ch USB soundcard up off ebay for $8 and it works fine on all my old motherboards.

Select your model motherboard/device, and makesure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matchesyour Windows operating system. If the drivers exist, they will either be on that page, or Windows will automatically fetch them given you have an internet connection. Generally, Windows can utilize generic drivers for graphics and audio int he event proprietary ones are not installed, and you should be able to use the computer just fine.

First check the RAM. please remove and place tightly again. Try it and if fails, comment here for next step .
