Chek the adapter and female power soket on laptop. if they are ok, clear the bios by reset bottom(there is a small hole under laptop) or removing small battery on mainboard.if the problem not solved ,have to change the mainboard.

you're disassembling your laptop ? hmmm sounds like an expert to me ...
but if you want to take a part of your laptop. you should first take out the panel above your keyboard > take the keyboard out > take the upper part of your laptop out (the panel around the keyboard) > open the processor heat sink. Usually in most laptop you don't have to open all screw at the bottom of your laptop.
