On the router you can block websites for all not just for one , you can block his mac address off the router but then he cannot access the network,
I suggest a antivirus/internet security which is installed on his pc to set parental control , i have seen this been done & implemented my self , its already pre-configured no extra settings needed.

You apply parental controls trough the browser , but it is easily bypassed by a literate it knowladge ,

on the machine you want to set the parental controls
- open "internet explorer" - click "tools" - click "internet properties" on the dropdown menu - click The "Content" tab - click "Parental Controls" - follow the wizard

* if you dont see tools option when You open the browser Press "alt" key , Make sure you have adminitrator privelages when setting this.

Thanx

How do I remove content control on my pc

Which operating system ??..
To Remove Parental Control Software from Windows XP
Click "Start" and then open up the "Control Panel".
Click on "Add or Remove Programs".

Wait for the program list to populate. Scroll through the list and identify the monitoring web software such as NetNanny, WebWatcher or similar.

Click on the web monitoring software.
To the right of the highlighted software is a button that says "Change/Remove", or two buttons, one "Change" the other "Remove".
Click the appropriate button that will remove the web blocking software.
If you get a pop up asking if you wish to continue, click "Yes".
The Windows Add/Remove utility will proceed automatically from this point on.

To Remove Parental Control Software from Vista or Windows 7

Click "Start", then open up the "Control Panel". A new window will open up, select "Programs and Features".
The heading will now read "Uninstall or Change a Program".

Scroll through the list until you find the web blocking software you wish to remove.
Select program.
The action "Uninstall" will appear next to the word "Organize" in the bar above the program list. Select "Uninstall".

Click Yes when the message box pops up asking if you're sure you want to uninstall the parental controls program.
The uninstall utility will take over from there.

To Remove Parental Controls on a Mac

Select "Accounts" under the "Systems" header at the bottom of your screen.

Select the user account name from which you wish to remove parental controls from the left hand column.

Uncheck "Enable Parental Controls".

Change Firewall Settings
A firewall is a security utility designed to thwart electronic access to a network.
Firewalls are absolutely necessary because, without one, your computer is prone to being exposed to Trojans, mal-ware, spy-ware and other kinds of viral infections.
However, in some situations it is helpful to alter the firewall settings to allow certain programs to run without being blocked.
This is important to anyone whom wants to know how to access Windows Firewall and customize its settings.

Go to the start menu and select "Control Panel."
Click on the Windows Firewall icon.
It looks like a brick wall.
Choose either "On," "Block all incoming connections" or "Off" under the "General" tab.
It is recommended to have it on and not advised to turn it off.
Click the "Exceptions" tab to choose which programs you do not want to be protected by the firewall.
Click the empty box to check the programs you want to add to the list of exceptions.
It is recommended to check browsers and file-sharing programs.
Click the "Advanced" tab to choose which network connections you want the firewall to protect.
It is recommended to check all connections because your computer could be exposed to viruses if left unchecked.
Click "Restore Defaults" under the advanced tab.
This may cause some programs to stop working and is not recommended if you do not have experience working with firewall settings.
Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help
Select "Tools>Internet options" Inside Internet Explorer, then click the "Security" tab. Press the "Custom level" button.

Only one user account is connecting to the internet?

This problem is usually due to parental controls or user application privileges/ network privileges.
The account that can connect to the internet should be the "administrator". In "Control Panel" access "user accounts" and check the privileges. Enable full (or the ones you want) access. "Parental controls" will block internet connections, check to make sure this is disabled or the correct level is enabled.

How do u unblock myspace on a school computer

Sorry, but only the schools system admin change these settings. their is no legal way you can do this. Except getting your friends parents, your friends, other school members, and their parents to sign a petition about making it where the students at your school can view that site.

for more information on what a petition is, do some research, ask some teachers if they would help back you. Come up with some very good ideas and reasons why students at your school should be able to view myspace.

it may or may not change anything, but if you get enough people, and you do it the correct way anything is possible.

Network parental control

If you want dynamic monitoring/filtering of the web traffic you might need to install software on all the PC's! When it comes to the Playstation 3, there should be settings on there that you can set! Check out this page : http://www.gamerdad.com/detail.cfm?itemID=3558 When it comes to the dynamic filtering of sites, the most highly rated Parental Control Software is Content Protect(Now NetNanny)! http://www.netnanny.com/ By dynamic filtering, it means the the parental control mechanism, automatically blocks sites due to content(it updates over the internet!) The router can only do so much! :( hope this was helpful, regards, babb
