Question about Toshiba Televison & Video
Most of the time when the remote control doesn't work we forgot to replace the battery, but if you replaced the battery already and it never get to work it could be that some parts on the remote control most of the time components that are cold soldered. It means that due to its function we sometimes slip and accidentally drop the remote causing the components inside to absorb the shock that made the solder on the control to be weak and lose its solder. So, opening and soldering or maybe cleaning the pad connections may solved the problem. Servicing this to a technician is just a waste of money just buy a Universal Remote if you can fix it yourself. Hope this helps.
